^That is so great that they have done it for so long. This is our first year, so hopefully it will be an annual thing...:)

Sorry if I didn't see this anywhere on the thread. But if your visiting the park that day can you view the Procession in designated standing areas only? Or is there a separate ticket for the evening and the park closes for this event? Sorry if I am asking for info that has already been discussed. I just want to be certain, cause if I can make it, I will definitely try and visit the park that day....Thanks to everyone who has posted, this really has me aching to see this for the first time....

Yes, you can watch from standing areas. YOu don't need extra tickets. It's just like Fantasmic, but with no sitting except for the directors and special guests.

You can view it in designated standing areas, but I would suggest getting there early to get a good spot. I'm gonna try and snag a bench this year, so come say hi if you see me kickin' it on a bench. :)

However, you do have a separate ticket if you want to sit in the seated section, but that is extra and VERY hard to get. *nods*

^I'm not too excited about the possibility of it being cold. We can't wear a jacket because of the robe. I have a feeling I'm going to be very cold......

You won't be that cold if you're surrounded by people on all sides, no worries. :) Just bring a sweater for after.

It's almost better to do standing room only because the reserved seats don't include park admission.

Thank you to those who have posted about being able to view the Procession without buying the event tix. I am definitely going to be there on the 6th. I am very excited I am going to take my dad and he is looking forward to seeing this too. He is cool with having to sit and camp out a bit. He loves to people watch and enjoy the magic too! Thanks again!

Eating dinner...showing up just before the performance and sitting closer is always better than showing up 3 hours before the performance and standing in the cold.

IMHO.

I'll be there with my 4 year old. Dad can't go so we're flying in together. I'm not sure if he'll want to sit through it but I'm really hoping so cause I want to see it!

Trivia: In the movie "Cars", the tow truck introduces himself as "Mater, like Ta-Mater without the Ta". However, in French, the joke did not translate so he introduced himself as "Martin, like Aston Martin without the Aston"
