Question Buzz Lightyear Astroblaster secrets...

Does anyone know of any secrets on this ride? Like any hidden targets or how to boost your points or anything like that? I'm going to be there in a day and any feedback or info would be great..

Keep shooting the same target over and over again when the ride stops, hopefully you are in front of a blue diamond one. If not just shoot any target you can get your blaster on! Blue diamonds are worth the most.

Oh and shoot the targets with the flashing borders for bonus points!

Don't expect to score a massively high score unless the ride stops. Without it stopping, and having a very lucky day, I've only been able to hit 575,000 max, aiming only at diamonds and triangles.

I have an idea, this sounds sarcastic so dont take it that way. Maybe if u aim at the regular targets and the diamond targets

Yes, like he said (v), you will gain more points just trying to aim at any target. You can hit two random targets and get points in the same amount of time of aiming and shooting at diamonds and triangles only.

Overall, there are some ways to get more points, one in being lucky enough to stop in front of a target. The last time I went, not only was I lucky enough to stop in front of a target but it was a hidden triangle target. When you go through one of those tunnels there is a hidden triangle target on the wall that is not lit up or colored; it just belend with other wall, but you can barely see an outline, and if you hit it, it lights up red, like the others.

Otherwise, Good Luck, Buena Suerte, and Good Luck in every other language!

There aren't really any other secrets other than what's already been said. Aim for triangles/diamonds and any target that's lit up. Oh, and be sure to hit the hidden targets in the star tunnel.

An easy target to aim for is the blue triangle troward the end of the ride, it will be behind you in the final sence. It is in like a box and you hit the circle to get it to pop up. Also look for the 4 diamond targets in the star tunnel.

Matt, how else cpuld we explain the hidden targets in the tunnel?
I tried my best!

Umm... oh yea... If you have a choice, go after the lit-up targets. Not the ones that were lit up because they were hit, the one with a steady surrounding red light. Once you hit them, the light goes out.

What *I'd* like to know is how some people get insanely high scores! I know where most of the high-level targets are, so is it just a matter of practice? Does anyone have any tips on how to aim with the guns? I noticed my aim sucks a lot. I can usually only tell where I'm shooting because I hit the trigger rapidly and I see a flashing red dot on the wall where I'm shooting. Any little tidbits of advice would be great!

Oh goody! A BLAB thread.
Well, what i can say is that i really don't think there are any secrets
Just tips.
Well, here's what i do, Constantly just hit the targets but i never really like to hit the circles. I only hit circles when i can't get a clear shot of any other targets.
The second time you see ZURG i alway shoot at his left arm, no matter how many times i hit that target i never miss.
MAKE SURE YOU HIT THE DIAMOND TARGETS.

Heres a list from top to bottom top is worth most the one below the top is second best target.ETC.

Light Blue Diamond
Triangle ( I ain't sure what color it is)
Green Square
Orange reddish Circle.

Note:There is a video of Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters somewhere on this site.
I best advise you go on the ride first before see the movie so you can be Suprised!

Well, there is one secret, When you enter the room with buzz when your in line look back and there should be a list of planet and on one of the planets there is a hidden mickey.

And as the others said, Hit the lighted up targets, they flash with light on the target.

I'm pretty sure thats all i know.
Oh yeah, NEVER STOP SHOOTING JUST KEEP PRESSING THE TRIGGER CONSTANTLY, yes i know, you may get tired but its worth it.

At the end you can send your picture to your E-Mail.
Have fun at Disneyland.

triangle = 10000
diamond = 5000
square = 1000
circle = 100

bonus if lit. this means your getting help from an online player.

as far as aiming...well it depends on the gun.
some I have used are dead on accurate....others are lame and random.
it just depends on the luck of the draw so 2 say
