Butterflys or flickering lights!?!?!

Okay I've seen dozens of Fantasmic videos. And there have been little butterflys in one that change colors like in RU42's and then others have flickering lights? I've never seen the show in person!!!!!!!!!! So what is it?

kk the fluttering butterflies have been taken out and been replaced by the flickering lights

i thin kthe reason y.. is becuz it used up too many performers...

thats messed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The butterflys were the only things that beat wdws other than peter pan lol.

What about the boat at the end? That thing looks horrible at WDW. Luckily DL has the Mark Twain.

Yeah too bad they got replaced. I haven't seen the show in person for a long time, and I only remember those butterfly/firefly thingies.

I am sad because when I saw the flickering lights at WDW i was like. Ha we have butterflys. Now we suck like them durring that part.

Are you guys kidding? The flickering lights are awesome! Having recently experienced WDW fantasmic, there's isn't close to what DL is. Their's just flickers on and off without any real synchronization. But the one at disneyland is so much better, even more than the butterflys. If you see it in person, the experience is so much better. The flickering lights move throughout the structure of the building at such a quick pace with the music. It's great, really glad they made that addition. But the WDW just flickers on and off.

Yes but the butterflys were origional and they changed colors and were fun.

When did they replaced the butterflies? I remember I used to see the butterflies in Fantasmic! when I went there once. Then the rest of my recent visits to Disneyland when I noticed that they removed the butterflies. I was a bit disappointed. Also, I always thought those "butterflies/fireflies" were pixies or fairies. I thought of this because after Malifecent died in her dragon form, Tinkerbell showed up and summoned them to dance around for a while.

Instead they could have make the butterfiles more enhanced and high-tech. It is uses holograms that fly and changes color that goes with the music.
