Angry Bring back Roger!!!

Hopefully people agree with me,

Ive been going to disneyland annually every year, for the past 5 years. When i used to go as a kid, I remember loving Roger Rabbit, he was part of the fab 5. I remember getting my picture with him and how excited I was. Roger was truly a crazy, wild, fun character that everybody loved!
Now, they have a roger rabbit ride, a doll, and a shirt roger rabbit related. Nothing else, its like they are trying to forget Roger slowly. They have a ride for petes sake why can't they acknowledge him more like they do all the other characters. Roger Rabbit doesnt get any credit at disneyland anymore.
Now, they have this stupid character named stitch! its that annoying character that keeps showing up everywhere. they started including him in on the fab 5. hes almost as big as mickey, but nobody likes him, and nobodies seen the movie. Lilo and stitch need to go!!!!

BRING BACK ROGER RABBIT... hes an original, its only a matter of time til they make his ride, "stitches wild ride" (dont get any ideas disney) and take out Roger completely. I can't have that happen. I love Roger!!

please tell me if you agree or disagree with me..

p.s. I do apologize to the FEW Stitch fans

I completely agree. Lilo and Stich got really popular and I fail to see why. I love Roger Rabbit. The character still does walk around mainly in Toontown as far as I know.

Wow, no need to be so closed minded! I know A LOT of people who love Stitch (myself included). There are probably just as many Stitch fans as Roger Rabbit fans. Besides, if nobody likes Stitch and nobody has seen the movie, how come there is so much Stitch merchandise being sold? Every time I go to the park, I see at least 5 people with something Stitch related and at least one huge Stitch fanatic. I really don't see the need to diss Stitch in this conversation.

However, I will agree that it would be nice to see Roger Rabbit roaming the park again. Although, I would MUCH rather see Bonkers roaming the park, but that's an entirely different topic...

I agree, Roger was, and still is one of my favorite characters, the others being Brer Bear and the Mad Hatter. On the old Disney Sing-a-long song "Disneyland Fun", He is there with the fab five during the opening of the park.

Few? How can you say he only has a few fans when you just got finished saying that he's almost as popular as Mickey?

Lilo & Stitch has gained popularity because it was one of the few truly unique story-lines that has come out of the Disney Studios (or any studio) for that matter.

Both Lilo and Stitch are relatable because they are complex and three-dimensional. A hero who runs around destroying things? A heroine who gets into scuffles and bites people? Why are they like that? What happened to make them do those things? Are we who we are because of how we were brought up, or because we were created that way? Not the kind of subject matter I remember seeing in many childrens movies.

HOWEVER... I do agree with you... They seem to be totally ignoring Roger these days... if you want to get your fix, they just rereleased the dvd of the Disneyland Fun Sing-A-Long. It's my favorite...

Haha I'm watching that right now! Roger was just on as a matter of fact. When he was riding in Autopia. Lol I can't believe I'm almost 20 years old and I'm still watching Sing=a-longs!

I've only seen bits of Lilo and Stitch because I can't stand that nasty little creature and I resent having him as the tree topper on my Christmas hat. However, I don't like any of the Alice in Wonderland characters, either, and think the new Narnia Ice Queen is magnificent. One advantage to being over 50 is that I remember the saying, "Different strokes for different folks."

To be honest, I loved the movie but thought Roger Rabbit was really irritating (never understood what Jessica saw in him.) Nevertheless, he is the reason for Toon Town in the first place (thank goodness they dumped the Dick Tracy idea) so he should be visible all the time there. I haven't seen him on any of my trips this year.

I'm a Huge Roger Rabbit fan, and I really think Roger should roam around the park. I don't think they would ever rip out the Car Toon Spin. At least he's not completely forgotten, they are making some new merchandise on him, but not a whole lot. I would give anything to see Roger walking around though.

I got you beat... I'm 26, my brother is 24 and he just came over last week to watch the Disneyland Fun DVD with me. We even sang along without 'following the bouncing ball.' We even had the opening song memorized ("Come on in, sing along, with your favorite Disney songs. Once you've learned every word, you'll want to sing along!")

I love Roger Rabbit and his ride. I too have noticed him never being around too, and I dont like it. I think I saw him on the back of the mark twain in fantasmic with goofy, pluto and them, but that was a few years ago. I don't have any problems with lilo and stitch. I think they're great, all the kids love them and they are pretty cool characters. But I do miss Roger.
