When I was the Jan 17th, the bamboo pole was sadly bent. Next day it was gone. Somewhere - maybe here - I read that the pole costs a lot to redo and takes a good bit of time.

I know! I was upset because that was one of my favorite effects in the queue! I think I saw the hole where it would have been, too. I guess it must have broken or something.

This is kinda off-topic, but I also noticed that the pirate who hangs over you on the final bridge (with the hairy leg) at POTC was gone too, as was his parrot. His cup and shoe were still there though.

Right after Indy (who is holding the double doors shut after you 'had to look, didn't you" into the eyes of Mara) tells you to veer left "it's the only way out", the ride vehicle turns left and see the skull of Mara with the fire and light coming out of it's left eye. You pause there for a second to get the effect and the dramatic music. Then you bumpity bump (supposedly down stairs) and make a hard left turn into a room filled with skeletons. As soon as you enter that room, look over your left shoulder at the wall you just passed (like looking at the wall of a doorway you just walked through for the light switch) and Voila! Bones is in that group. It's sorta' like knowing to look behind you at the animals on the wall in the 'Pooh' ride, only Bones is on the left behind you.

This works much better if you're on the left side of the car, and especially well if you're in the back end of the vehicle.

Well, you could possibly look beside you as you go in, but the car is already moving pretty fast, so I've found looking behind works better. It's kinda an angled wall or something.
