Default Blue Bayou

My family and I are planning on eating at the Blue Bayou for lunch on Saturday and have reservations for a water-side seat. We've heard that the wait, even for reserved seats, can get up to about and hour and a half, is this true? We're deciding wether to squash the Blue Bayou idea or stick with our plans on eating there.

In the few times I've requested a waterside table, I've always shown up at the reservation time & walked right to the table without hardly any wait. I guess it could take up to 90mins on very bad days, but the point of a reservation is to get the next available table. Since there are plently of waterside tables, it shouldn't take very long at all, even with parties of 4 or more. Enjoy your trip!

I ate there last Monday (18th) with a friend, had a reservation for 2:30, requested a water table, waited about 15 mins, and was seated. Hope this helps!

Get there 15 minutes prior to your reservation and request 'Waterfront Seating' and you'll usually get it within 15 minutes of your original reservation time. Very much worth it.

I'd also recommend arriving a few minutes before your reservation. I've eaten at the Blue Bayou at least 7 times....and I've never had to wait more than 30 minutes to get a table. The food and the atmosphere can't be beat. I'd suggest you stay with your plan, otherwise, you'll regret it. Its worth it!

I haven't eaten there in a while, but last time we ate there, we reserved seats and came just in time to get our table. We waited for about 2-3min. and we were seated. It was great. You can hear people scream when they go down the drop. It's so funny!!!!

Have fun!!!!!!
