I've been there by accident.
You see, my mother, my ex, and I, along with other people who got off the ride with us, just left the StarSpeeder 3000 from Star Tours. Someone was heading to the right, so all of us went right and straight to the doors that leads to backstage. Lol. We found out that this wasn't the exit and headed back. Never at DLR but a few times at DHS in Orlando....we got in the back around 6am. We were there as a part of NYFA (New York Film Academy) we got to shoot some of our films on the New York and San Fransisco streets sets. It was really cool to be there before first light and in all of the backstage areas.

I'm not sure of the year, maybe 1978 or so. My sister and I were at the Tomorrowland Terrace watching The Miracles do a show, as in Smokey Robinson and The Miracles after Smokey went solo. A brother of one of the band members came up to us and said that his brother liked the looks of my sister and they wanted us to go meet the band underneath the stage after the set. So he lead us past the food counter to a door and we went down some stairs. We basically saw a room or two for the musicians to dress and/or practice and then security came to kick us out! The guys told security that he was a relative of someone in the band and security said that he knew that he was okayed, but he couldn't just bring anyone down there and we had to go. I just wanted to see how the stage descended. I didn't care about meeting anyone. So the guy walked with us and security back upstairs and when we got up there he invited us to a party. I was thinking no way, cause this is my younger sister and I was responsible. She wanted to go so I let her get the address and after we walked away I told her we couldn't go. I was glad we got to see backstage, though, if only for a couple of minutes, and it was kind of cool being kicked out by security!
