Default AC in Finding Nemo submarine voyage

I was wondering if there was A/C onboard the subs because my mom will freak out if it gets too hot in there..

each port hole has a air/fan so it does not get that stuffy or hot

Yep, I was there on a very hot day and it was very comfortable in the subs. Not to worry.

If anything it might get a bit cold inside, but not hot.

It only has fans I believe, not air conditioning. Plus where you sit is under water and that is a big lagoon so the water does stay nice and cool. Mix that with the fans and the subs stay a nice comfy temp inside.

Wow...I have a different view of the subs after this week. We rode Nemo at closing time and I was really stuffy in there.

Well the subs were cool inside for me too.
I like how the air comes through every porthole in the sub, so everyone gets the fresh air.

It would be odd that if they didn't because the old 20k subs at WDW and the old subride at DLR both were air conditioned. It would get stuffy quickly with all the people in there if they didn't

I felt maybe the a/c was turned off already for the last trip of the night. It just felt a bit stuffy for me. It wasn't terrible, but just not cool, for my taste.

Nobody mentioned this but the reason the fans are in every porthole is also to keep condensation off the glass from people breathing on them.

Lightbulb psychological trick

Also, the feeling of air moving helps prevent feelings of claustrophobia: It doesn't feel like you're shut in.
