Default 02/15/06 trip report

The wife and I went to DL the day after valentines day, the park was not that busy. First we went to California Adventure and did our two favorite rides, California screemin and Tower of Terror. both had a 5 minute wait time posted and we walked righ on. Then off to DL, 30 minute wait time for Indiana and we FP'd that one. Space mountine was 45 minutes so we blew that off. All in all, not a bad day at the park. Walked right on every ride as it got later in the day and the plus was when we went on sailing ship columbia, there was only 10 people on it for the last go for the night.

Side note: The wife and I go to DL about two to three times a month when we can and keep a log of the best times to visit. We hate crowed and wont go on Fridays. Saturday or Sundays. Wouldn't it be a nice feature to this web site to have a calendar that had the small crowd days posted?.. just a thought..

Why didn't you get a Fast Pass for Space? Were they already sold out?

And honestly 30-45 min wait time for a ride isn't all that bad. I usually don't stand in line if it's more than an hour. And I've never used fast pass.
I don't mind the queue's, that's part of the ride!!

around 2:00pm, at that time DCA had almost no crowd, any ride was easy to get on.

We are going back this Monday 02-27-06, I will post another report. My wife allways notes on the calander what days are the slowest, this way we can plan our date night and have a good time ad DL. More then 5 times we have had our own boat on Pirates. On one slow day, they let us go in Indiana twice by getting back in line at the film projector point. For us, its easyer to enjoy the park when its slow, we go on the rides we want and sit and relax at New Orlenes square and listen to the music.
