Sign of the times: Property values fall even within Disney World

Even Walt Disney World isn't immune from slumping real estate values. The assessed value of all the land within the Reedy Creek Improvement District, which covers all of Disney World, has fallen by 3 percent, according to the district's preliminary budget. That's not necessarily bad news for Disney, since lower property values typically lead to lower property tax bills.
