VMK is like Disneyland... It needs constant attention and upgrading to keep grabbing your attention.

I actually thought it was kind of weird when they introduced the Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan's Flight rides... Virtual reality versions of actual theme park rides that were themselves virtual reality versions of the movies. While it was neat to see how they did it, and I enjoyed the furniture items that let me play around with my own "rooms", it was a little disengaging to watch a virtual version of me ride a virtual ride.

The actual games - Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Jungle Cruise - were strokes of genius, however, in recalling the rides while expanding beyond them as games. They were engaging enough as games, with nice visual and audio ques to recall the park. When feeling a Disneyland craving, those did more for me than looking at photos and reading reports.

They just really needed to keep on it and add more... They tried all sorts of little tricks and things, but they really needed more actual games. Where were the Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain games, the Enchanted Tiki Room and Country Bear Jamboree music mixers, etc.?

Oh well... too late...
