|  Why is this in Bluray If anyone remember the movie Haunted Mansion with Eddie Murphy, In my personal opinion this movie was one of the worse Disney movie that ever made it to the movie theater. Many people who I have spoken to have not even seen or heard of this movie. It seems like now Disney pretends like the movie never happened. Unlike Pirates that incorporated the characters in the movie into the ride, the Haunted Mansion attraction did not do the same. This was probably due to the popularity of the film. (These are strictly based on opinion and if anyone wants to tell me I am wrong with sound reasoning I will be easily influenced because of my lack of knowledge on this subject). So this is not one of the most popular movies and I have seen the previews for Aladdin and other movies.... so why was this one of the first Disney Bluray movies?

   | Maybe they are trying to make back some of the money they lost on it by marketing it to an audience that may not remember it! The younger kids might think "cool!! Haunted Mansion!" and buy it :) We know better.... haha

  | Well I guess all films will meet their Blu-Ray counterparts at some point. Just like the VHS to DVD conversation, over the years we've seen DVD re-releases for all our favorite classic films.

| I'd actually say this film is inspired more than the POTC movies. Although the POTC movies have references to the ride, the film in question is based more directly. [dodges tomatoes]

| i mean the movie looked like it was going to be good... but Eddie Murphy? I mean it would have been so sweet if they took one of the pictures in the haunted mansion and told the story of their relationship with the mansion... am i right am i right.... just anything but Eddie Murphy lol
