Actually, just about all my favorite Disney characters are villains!

For the villains, more or less in order: Maleficent, Chernabog, the Headless Horseman, the Hitchhiking Ghosts, the Magic Mirror and Monstro the Whale. For anti-heroes: Captain Nemo and Jack Sparrow.

As far as the villains go... hades, hands down, with Hook and possibly Frollo for the silver and bronze. But you can't beat "Name's Hades, Lord of the Dead, hi, how ya doin'?"

My favorite is Scar, merely because he's from my favorite Disney movie.

Chernabog scares the crap out of me, so I suppose he does his job well. I guess he's the best villain, but not necessarily my favorite.

I've got to go with Scar. The guy (er... lion) was totally evil, yet completely slick and refined. After all, he had Jeremy Irons doing his voice. That kind of just automatically makes him awesome.

Frollo certainly runs a close second in my book though. The way he lusted after Esmerelda and took advantage of Quasimodo's trusting nature was just despicable! Cruella and Yzma go on my list as well, for their wonderful humor. "Is there anything on this menu that isn't swimming in gravy?!"

I suppose the White Witch counts as a Disney villain now? I really liked Tilda Swinton's portrayal, and it was very exciting to see her cameo in "Prince Caspian".

And my favorite anti-hero would definitely be John Silver from "Treasure Planet"! Talk about an underrated Disney film.

I love the over-the-top Disney villians, the ones who are the most deranged.

I love the scene where Yzma says, "Why to we even HAVE that button!?"

Captian Hook is such a looney. He pretends to be very civilized but is at heart a ruthless killer.

But I think my favorite (and posssibly the best animated) is Marc Davis' Cruella Deville. Now that is one manic villian. Wanting to skin puppies is just wrong on so many levels...

I'm going with Scar. Come on, he plotted the stampede, killed Mufasa--who was his brother--then blamed Simba (his nephew) for the whole thing. Stepped to the thrown and completely distroyed the pride. And even turned on his on posse to save his skin. Hands down--the BEST villain yet!

I would have to say Maleficent!!! She is pure and utter evil. Vowing to destroy someone's life just because she wasn't invited to a birthday party.

..and coming to form as the dragon!! LOVE IT!
