Default What is your favorite recent live action Disney movie?

Please vote for your favorite live action Disney movie of recent times (2000-current). Please, if you choose other, don't mention an animated movie (there's already a thread for that: Best Disney movie of all time). THANKS!

Nightmare...in 3D is live action? I didn't know that.

I voted for Pirates I because I was so intrigued with the Jack Sparrow character. I eagerly awaited the second and third expecting to see more depth revealed and was (sniff) disappointed that he only seemed to get more shallow. I enjoyed the second and third movies for other reasons (Will and Barbosa got the depth, I guess) but in a way was sorry I watched them. Can't really hold onto my illusions of Jack through the first any more.

I liked the first and third Pirate movies, but not the second. It's kinda like with the Indiana Jones trilogy: Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade (that trilogy's first and third movies) were good, but Temple of Doom (the trilogy's second movie) was not as good.

And you mentioned Nightmare as a live-action film. I wouldn't exactly call it live action, though.

I pick At World's End, because it gave Will and Elizabeth a bigger role than they had in the second one. In the first one, the story was not so much about Jack Sparrow as it was about Will and Elizabeth. When they made the story more about Jack Sparrow, the movie wasn't as good.

I picked Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl . The other two pirates movies were horrible compared to this one. This one rocked!

Don't Get Me Wrong, Chronicles of Narnia was great, but I am a total Pirate Lover. So Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of The Black Pearl, hands down!!

Would the late 80's be considered recent? If so, Cool Runnings is my favorite.
