Default Nightmare Before Christmas 3-D in 2007

Does anyone know if Nightmare Before Christmas 3-D will be coming back this october? I looked on Wikipedia it said it was going to be shown for October 19th 2007 again. Can anyone confirm this? I'd really like to see this version because I never saw it the first time!

IMDB shows that it is being released internationally in 3D in 2007, so I'd say it's safe to speculate that a simultaneous USA (re)release will occur on October 19 (Link).

Also, my local Regal Cinemas has up a "Coming Soon" poster (same design as last year) advertising Nightmare in 3D.

It'd be cool if they did this every year though...Thanks anyway!

Nightmare Before Christmas 3-D will arrive in select theatres October 19th.
It also has its release listed in the Walt Disney pictures section of Disney.com for scheduled theatre releases.

I hope that at some point they decide to release this movie on VHS, DVD, Blue Ray, etc. It could have two versions of the movie. On one tape or DVD you could watch it as it originally was and on the other one you could watch it in 3-D! I really LOVE this movie and I believe that it is one of the greatest movie's I have ever seen! I hate the fact that it is being released only in select theaters though.

i saw it last year in 3D.
and it wasn't as i thought it would be with stuff popping out of the screen
(i.e. when the bats flew out of oogie's mouth in the song)
^but that didn't happen like it was popping out at you.
it would've been cooler if more of that popping out at you stuff was in the film though.

I did want to see this last ear and didn't have the chance to, so I hope I can this year. I have yet to see something at the El Capitan.

I have heard of this place but I don't know where it is. I'm gonna guess LA perhaps? I know for a fact Ken Page (The guy who plays Oogie Boogie) sang his trademark song there last year. I saw that on a video on YouTube. It was GREAT!!!!

My wife and I saw NBC originally in theaters and we took our daughter to see the 3D version (she loves this movie, we own it on DVD). When people think 3D they think of things popping out at you ala HISTA or MuppetVision3D. What you are seeing in the 3D version is a greatly enhanced depth of field with objects obviously in the foreground, but the amazing thing is the level of detail you see with the textures and such that you can never truly appreciate on your home plasma TV.

Because the projection system relies on a very high frame rate, its would be impossible to release this version on DVD or blue-ray.

If you're a fan of the movie, by all means, go see it in 3D. If you're only wanting to see it because its in 3D you might be disappointed. I'm glad they didn't add anything noticeably to the cut. The film is so good it stands on its own just fine. I know there was a great deal of computer tweaking to fix a lot of photographic flaws in the original, so what you're seeing a a really nicely cleaned up version with some added depth.

Nice! Now I really want to go and see NBC. And to answer Davy Jones fan.... Yes the El Capitan is in Hollywood. It looks great on the outside. Very cool design.

Well I read a review that said the film stopped ten times at El Capitan.

BTW, I saw the film last year. It is really cool. Some colors, like the Christmastown portal and Sally's face in the beginning have different colors than when watching it at home. Maybe some day James and the Giant Peach could be shown in D-D-3D

Really excited to see it in 3-D. The trailer before meet the Robinsons in 3-D, really gave me a feel for how it would look - amazing, and really worth the extra two bucks!

That's the same way I felt. I saw Meet the Robinson's in 3-D too, and that trailer really made me want to see NBC in 3-D. I didn't get to see it last year, because it was only playing out in the suburbs.

I only saw NBC once, maybe I need to watch it again, because it didn't thrill me too much.

Maybe I was nervous because we went to see it on a show break at WDW and I was nervous we would get back late and miss our next performance....LOL So I didn't enjoy it as much.
