New Disney Shorts

Ok, so I remember reading awhile back about the plans to get the Disney shorts back up and running. I went and looked back and found an article from about 2006 where I first saw the word of the shorts coming back along with the storyboard art for the most recent Goofy short "How To Install Your Home Theater System." Now I know this eventually got created and was very funny. But I just recently realized, wait, thats it? So I was wondering if anyone knew anything new regarding the Disney characters coming back for more shorts. This doesn't include House of Mouse and Mouse Works. Any word is appreicated

Interesting. So it is kinda like they just gave up or moved on without bringing out new ones. LOL That was a while ago.
I personally would love to see them make new cartoon shorts and at least have the characters go back to their old behaviors too. Thay must have given Donald drugs and therapy, cause his anger issues are nil and none these days. Goofy still has some quirkiness, but Mickey even isn't that mischievous mouse we once knew. I hate to say it but it is like they dumbed the characters down.
