Nightmare Before Christmas is, I saw it at Costco a few weeks ago. As for Little Mermaid, I don't have a clue, I think it is though.

I got Little Mermaid at WalMart about a week ago and last night they were still there. I have to say though, I was a little disappointed in the storyline. It was slow! The songs weren't great either. Sad.

The Ariel one just came out a few weeks ago, and a special edition of NBC just came out, too. They're both available.

I was just reading on UltimateDisney about this a few days ago, actually. Ariel's Beginning is out, but it'll be headed to the infamous "vault" on January 30th. If you don't have any of the Little Mermaid DVDs, it might be worth waiting though. On December 16th, Return to the Sea gets a rerelease and also on that day all three Mermaid movies will be boxed together in The Little Mermaid Trilogy.

I haven't heard any plans to throw Nightmare back into the vault yet. Even if they do, it'll probably resurface every Halloween or so. That's one of those one's that comes and goes.

^ Really? I thought it's been many years now since the previous DVD release of Nightmare Before Christmas?

It's been a few years, but it never really went anywhere. It went out-of-print, I think, but it wasn't really too hard to find. I know at the parks I saw it pop up on Halloween. Of course, they never announced it as "going to the vault" before 'cause they used to stick it under Touchstone's label. Now that it's under Walt Disney Pictures, I suppose that'll change.
