Sorry if this seems to go off-topice a few times.

I saw a trailer for it along with WALL-E, and I have to say...

Disney has finally hit the bottom of the well.

Okay, I may be exagerating a bit, but doesn't a talking dog warrent an animated feature. I mean, a movie like The Shaggy Dog might work in live action, but having talking dogs, talking animals period, is an automatic cry for animation, and not the kind that goes into live action. I mean, remeber Disney's attempt at Underdog last year? Horrible. It's almost like Disney doesn't care about the quality of films it produces anymore (and for a Disney devotee to say that is horrible). Where are directors like Robert Stevenson, lyrists like the Sherman Bros. For awhile, what with the Disney Renissance, it seemed like Disney would go back to the glory days, but now? Beverly Hills Chihuhua is just one example of how far Disney has fallen. This film looks corny and while Walt himself did say there was nothing wrong with corn, the corn has to be in the purpose of the story and not used excessively as I feel it is being used in this story, even just from the trailer. Although I cannot speak for Walt Disney, I have a feeling he would be bitterly disappointed with this movie.
