We stayed at Sugar Loaf concierge from June 24-30 of 2007. The hotel is extremely beautiful, but not snobbish in any way. The pools are nice and clean, and the beach pool has a nice waterslide, with zero-entry.
The concierge is helpful, and met us as soon as we got off the Magical Express Bus. Our room was not ready when we came (we got to the hotel at 10:30) but they arranged for us to go swimming while we waited for our room. We also had snacks, and the cookies were especially delectable. Overall, 9/10. + Efficient Check in/out + Beautiful Landscaping/Pools + Close to Magic Kingdom (Boat or Monorail) + Staff will bend over backwards + Clean - Wishes Noise - Astronomically expensive, but worth it |

I recently took my first.... and last trip to WDW. The hotel was fine, and we found the staff to be helpfull. Upon our arrival we walked out onto the balcony of our "Magic Kingdom View Room" to find a view of a huge pine tree. My partner called and asked about being moved to another room and early the next morning we were moved to a much nicer room.
Both of us have been Premium AP holders at Disneyland for 17 years and love the origional Disneyland Park. We, on the other hand found to cast members in the WDW parks... especially the Magic Kingdom to be some of the rudest people we've even had the misfortune to run across. For the price, time and travel, Disneyland is a MUCH better option, and more bang for the buck. Plus California's economy could use all the help it can get |
