Rock N Rollercoaster to be Replaced with Hanna Montanna?

so I was recently watching a RNRC video on youtube and while i was reading the comments I came across this horrifying new rumor floating around that RNRC will be replace with a Hanna Montana/Johna's Brothers theme coaster? 0_0 so heres a thread from WDWmagic.com explaing some things about it.

I feel nauseous just thinking about that! I've never been on the coaster, but I would never go if it was HM.

They better not! I love Aerosmith, and Rock n Rollercoaster is great as is. No need for Hannah Montana, please!

Well, there was this comment in the forum that I agree with, it is cheaper for Disney to renew the contract for a few more years than to retheme the ride, besides, it says the contract expired 2 months ago, I think that if some changes were coming, we should know by now.

^ I agree it would take a lot more money to gut the ride of it's theme and re theme it to Hanna or what ever than to renew the contract.

It would only cost more in the short term because of the construction/development costs. For the next decade or so after that, Disney would come out very far ahead compared to where they are under the Aerosmith contract.

I've been on the Rockin' Roller Coaster in Paris, and from what I remember, you can put ANY band/group into the "studio" and not need to change anything on the ride itself other than the onboard music track.

I don't doubt that at some point the band/singer will change. However I don't think a HM or JoBro roller coaster would be worth it. I think Disney understands that they aren't going to be long lived, because their fans are going to grow up and get over them. So changing a successful roller coaster to a singer(s) that only a younger audience (maybe even too young for the ride) enjoy...well, they would lose a lot of riders. Roller coasters don't need to appeal to children because they either like the ride for the feeling or they won't ride them anyways. I think they need to appeal to the late teens-thirty year olds because those are the people that care about the music, atmosphere, etc. Aerosmith appeals to that audeince. Hannah Montana doesn't.

If Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers is to be considered to replace Aerosmith, I'd rather have it during the month of October. What better way to make them truly fear for their lives and regret their decisions of ever riding it? Sounds perfect for Halloween.

I agree with you if they do change it keep it with the classic rock group like Aerosmith but change it to like Boston or any one of them but no HM or JoBro.
