Original Tiki Room coming back - Page 2

Exactly. Frankly, I think it's simple human nature not to admit mistakes. Ironically, however, it's also human nature to make mistakes. Everyone makes them; no one's perfect.

And let's not forget how in the early days when the movie-themed dark rides were supposed to have you be the protagonist of the respective movies represented in the respective (i.e., Peter Pan in the Peter Pan ride, Snow White in the Snow White ride, etc.). But no one got the idea. So when DL's Fantasyland was overhauled in 1983, they corrected this problem by including the actual heroes in the respective rides.

Under New Management could be replaced with just an overflowing trash can, and even that would be an improvement. It's beyond pathetic IMO, it's an embarassment.

Bring back the original, heck why not bring in the Stitch version that Tokyo Disneyland's going to have soon? Stitch will be in Tomorrowland and Adventureland then, so what? Get rid of the Tomorrowland attraction. Stitch's Great Escape doesn't make any sense anyway. Stitch escapes into Tomorrowland, then escapes again the next time you go through the attraction, then escapes again & again & again & again. Before long there's a bazillion Stitches running around Magic Kingdom & Cinderella's just stopped answering her balcony altogether. I really hope that monstrosity of an attraction dies soon. Replace it with WALL-E, anything, just get rid of it.

As for IllumiNATIONS: Reflections of Earth, I hope they never get rid of it. Tweak its lighting, tweak its pyro, make sure all that's upgraded but don't take away the inferno barge!!! Save our inferno barge!!!

As for IlumiNations, Disney just needs to spice it up. Give it an upgrade.

I certainly hope If the Tiki Room Rumor is true that WDW gets the COMPLETE soundtrack and not an Edited version like what we have in DL. sure it gets the guests out faster but ALL the songs have their charm.

Personally, I don't really care which version of the soundtrack WDW gets, just as long as Iago and Zazu are ousted. I hope they don't replace William and Morris, though.

I totally agree that the new tiki room show stinks. I do not like it and I do hope they bring the old show back.

Sticking up for Disney: Disney has always been a place of change. Nothing is ever to stay the same at Disney and that is what brings guests back. As much as I love illuminations it was bound to leave sometime. It may not be soon but one day it will. It will be a sad day when wishes is gone too. And i hope it to be another decade before they get rid of fantasmic. That show rocks!!!!

but like i said, disney is all about change. Some is good and some is bad. We at disney learn from our mistakes and build on it. That is why on every new ride we have people from research asking questions. We want to make the guest as happy as we can. Because of things like the tiki room under new managment is doing bad, we dont think of it as a mistake but a learning experience.

Still praying the WDW Orlando Enchanted Tiki Room soon will be running Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room (Disneyland) show! :) Please Give Jose His Show Back! :))

As for Stitch, He is a sensation in Japan and they release a lot more shows,etc with him in it there than they do here. Stitch in Japan, seems to be like Mickey Mouse here! So Stitch here would likely not be such a big draw....and Ive seen the new show....It isnt terrible, but I would say it does not even come close to the beloved original on any level or stretch of the imagination!

Hopefully one day in the near future we in Florida can once again Sing Like The Birdies Sing once again!

I applaud the Imagineers and the Disney upper level management for even considering bringing the Disneyland show to WDW Orlando! Bravo!!! If you agree with this, why not drop them a hand written letter, or email even to say that you heard this rumor, hope its true, and if it is true that you wanted to say Thank You in Advance!!!! They are all human beings like the rest of us, and would probably really like receive positive correspondences rather than all the negatives they probably have to endure. Always remember that the Imagineers are the ones who gave us all the things we love at Disney in the First Place!
