Somehow I'm not surprised. I went there a few times when I lived in Florida, and it didn't strike me as much more than an upscale arcade. It never really seemed that busy to me, either.

Although Jim Hill Media occaisonally has gossip,
I'm afraid DisneyQuest IS closing.

My friend Thom works there ( pronounced Thhomm ) and was
sort of upset but didnt really care since its not for a year anyways.
" Being replaced by an ESPN Zone isnt too bad " he said to me over a
Caramel Latte, " It would be packed with sweaty, sport loving men so
I'll be happy..."
...yes He...

That's going to be one heck of an ESPN Zone.

DisneyQuest has no good non-disney arcade games like the one in Starcade.

^ It's not cheap to get in, unless you make it a part of a 5x as expensive WDW admission package.

I went to the one in Chicago before it closed, and I really enjoyed myself. Much more than I thought I would. We ended up going a second day (not as fun, since it was packed) because we had so much fun.

I probably enjoyed Virtual Space Mountain the most. It's an interesting experience to actually ride a simulation of something that you created.

I went to WDW and did not go to Disneyquest, because my family had already spent 200 dollars a person, rooms and accomadations, souveniers, and food... (think DLR expensive? Wait till you get to WDW with a family of six...)

So we did not go.

If the ESPN Zone goes in, they will probably only use a part of it, unless they want Imax theaters or something for each game.
