Exclamation Changes for Fantasyland?

According to the various Disney themed websites across the internet, some big changes are coming to the Magic Kingdom in the next few years. First off, Fantasyland will be getting a massive overhaul real soon. Rumors include, the whole land will be given the European village feel of Disneyland's Fantasyland, plus some of the classic dark rides will be refurbished, Small World might get the Disney characters added (hooray), and three new attractions are coming. The three possible attractions might include a Little Mermaid dark ride, a Beauty and the Beast attraction (finally), and a roller coaster themed to the Seven Dwarves' Jewel Mine. I hope Disney responds well to these proposed additions! I'm pretty sure Blue Sky Disney was the website where I was pointed to this information.

oh the Dwarf mine would be cool! I've always loved their float in the light parade! A little mermaid ride would be cool.... they need to make it feel like we're actually under water though. Like we're swimming. I think they can get that effect more if we are suspended, like Peter Pan. That way we feel like we are floating. B&TB sounds kinda boring in my opinion.

Trivia: In the movie "Cars", the tow truck introduces himself as "Mater, like Ta-Mater without the Ta". However, in French, the joke did not translate so he introduced himself as "Martin, like Aston Martin without the Aston"

Everything looks dazzling. That's why I'm being cautious about this for once, especially with someone like Jay Rasulo on board. I can only hope that John Lasseter and even Robert Iger get in his way on some of this. I really hope that they do feature a lot, if not all, of the rides here.

And here is the information on it from Blue Sky Disney: http://blueskydisney.blogspot.com/20...t-fantasy.html. I hope it helps.

To be honest i am all against the changing of It's a Small World. From what I was told, that was one of three rides that he said he did not want changed! The idea of its a small world is about world peace, communication. Its not ment to have disney characters in it. What does disney characters have to do with it? Also about the little mermaid ride, that is ment to go at DCA isn't? I know disney definetly has plans for it there. The ideas you put on here does sound cool for fantasyland but I dont think they are true. I have heard nothing about it.

I know that they might do something with Pooh's playful spot. There is rumor about getting rid of it and putting something else there. Somone said the matterhorn but i doubt that. And there is a bit more space to expand fantasyland but not that much to build a roller coaster

Yes, i agree Small World is a classic and shouldnt be changed, but whatever, I was a little upset with the POTC change, I love Johnny Depp, but it's not the same.. even though people can barely notice the change, I can, and it doesnt have that "classic" feel, but I see how the public would like it since the movies are huge hits! Anyway back to Small World, i agree with you.

I honestly hope they also include a Pinocchio ride, too.

Of course, this is all just wishful thinking.
