Transport tours at DCA?

Hey guys,

I was on the Virtual Magic Kingdom Insiders Tour back in October of 2005. Do you know those 2 wheel scooter things the CM's at the Entry on innoventions lines ride on. Our tour guide said they will be bringing a Tour where they will share the Sights of DLR while you and the tour group get to ride on one of those 2 wheel scooter things coming Summer of 2006.

Your Thoughts?

(What are those scooter things called?)

The scooter-things are called Segways. Epcot had a Segway tour a while back & it'd be neat if one came to DLR. Those things are interesting to ride.

there also pretty dangerous lol. When I was working at RCX we got to ride them to get around the huge convention floor. And once i got off of mine I was giving it to a friend to ride and then as soon as I looked back at the segway it had taken off going full speed with no driver and hit some lady. It was actually pretty funny.

Segways! Thats the word.

I filmed the whole VMK tour but i lost the tape i watched it about a trillion times and the tour guide said "They are bringing Segway Tours to DCA".

And yeah, I heard about the tour before as well. I don't remember were I saw it though, dang it!

I found a video of the segway tours at WDW. Well this is what is coming to DCA.

yea i think they fixed that problem. The way they work is when you lean forward it goes forward. You lean back it goes backward, and you have a thing like a bike handles to steer. Also kyle i think they fixed that problem recently so if someone bumps it while no one is on it, it won't move. But im not sure i think i heard something like that. I think one of those tours would be awesome. Just having the chance to ride one of those things would be cool. I know at WDW they have segways all over the place. They have the big three car per parking spot thing and have ppl on segways directing you where to park. Also during parade's they have a special one that sells the glow sticks, spinny light up things and basicly anything that lights up or makes noise. I never have used a disney parking lot before because we are from AZ and we just park in the hotel and use ART or walk. But does anyone know if they use them in parking lots or any where else?

/\ if anyone remembers a year or so ago Bush fell off of a Segway, from the front. Those suckers aren't supposed to do that, (I rode one once when my dad brought one home to test for the Post Office.)

I think a segway tour would be great.
