My brother worked at Disneyland for about 8 months and he mentioned that supposedly the People movie was coming back as the "Incredimover." He said it was going to be modeled after the moving pods in the move "The Incredibles." I don't know if it's true but I just heard it a couple of weeks ago.

^ Old rumor that was born out of a theory from a website.

The Observatron or whatever the thing is ontop of the loading platform of the track?

Both spiny things are yest the Observatron and the Astro Orbitor. The '98 overhaul was awful. That's why we have the 2 spiny things as well as those nasty rocks out front and an empty track doing nothing but hardly providing shade on a hot day and rotting away. Also reasoning why TL was also repainted to reflect that older look again.

In my opinion, Honey, I Shrunk The Audience needs to be replace by another show. Don't get me wrong, I do like it and it was fun. However, it has a low record of attendance and it's old. It's in desperate need for a replacement.

However, I kind of do like how Tomorrowland looks now. Maybe I got used to it. However, I say the the spinning satellite needs to be replace by having Astro Orbiter back in its original place when it was Rocket Jets.

Sincerely, a brother of a half-demon,
Sesshomaru-sama

^Attendance is not an Issue at all actually. IF you go during off season, it is one of the more empty attractions. But go their when its crowded, and the theater will be full. All but for or five seats. Especially during the summer, its a great way to cool off, and it has a shorter line then Splash Mtn Does.

The Astro Orbiter needs to BLOW UP!! And they need to take off the satalite dishes, and put the cars back on! I must say, putting those on the old Rocket Jets is so Lame. I don't want to call disney packrats but come on.

Maybe the overhaul will include:

-A new show to replace HISTA
-The return of the PeopleMover (ideally), or something on that track
-A new E-ticket attraction; question is where... maybe where Autopia is now (though I'd like a new E-ticket ride, Autopia just has too much history and nostalgia behind it, plus it is popular)

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't feel much nostalgia toward the current version of Autopia.

Its nostalgic in general; its an original and has been there since the beginning, even though its current asthetics are very modern. Adding the FL Autopia would be a nice touch, and maybe alleviate the congestion.

I can't confirm any plans about future tomorrow land overhauls but I wouldn't expect an Autopia Renovation soon unless a movie comes along (other than Cars) that will completely fit in its place and story. The 2000 renovation has been considered a great sucess by Imagineers and being that that was 7 years ago, there is no reason for them to renovate a currently fine attraction that serves its purpose, regardless of its sponsor.

I agree the HISTA needs to go away, It is extremely outdated and was never that great to start with. It also has little to do with tomorrowland's theme. There is probably space for a small dark ride where it is currently located and I would like to see that.

As for the people mover track, I think they need to something with it, whether that means placing a new attraction or taking the track down for good. If they continue to leave the track up and do nothing, people will not stop begging for the peoplemoveer, rocket rods, or a new ride. I hope they do something because that track has been an integral facet of Tomorrowland since 1967.

I don't really like the Astro Orbiter's location, I think its too close to the central hub, however, I don't think its a big enough reason for it to be moved to the rocket rods platform tower thing. I would like to see something there though instead of that dumb sateilliete thing.

Something no one has mentioned: Star Tours. Although its a Disney landmark, it needs to be updated or replaced. Its technology is dated as well as its storyline. A newer version or a new ride needs to go in that large space soon.

As for the jules verne gold themed tomorrowland, I don't dislike it, and only beacuse Tomorrowland at Disneyland is no longer intending to predict the future but rather show a more charming vision of it. EPCOT took Tomorrowland's role to a new level in the 80's and since then , tomorrowland remains more whimisical, charming, and less purposeful. NO hard feelings though

Yup, Tomorrowland needs an overhaul. Perhaps bring back the old stuff? Or... maybe redo some shows and attractions so that it would actually BE Tomorrowland.
