By the end of the decade Tomorrowland will be receiving a complete overhaul, starting with Autopia Their contract with Chevron will be up in 2010. Although details are limited apparently Inoventions will be removed and a new show or attraction will be put in its place. Also in store for the new decade is an all new E-Ticket attraction that will stretch to Harbor Blvd.

I hear they're adding a loop.

No no no.... I heard they were going to move his frozen body over to Tomorrowland and place it in a time capsule because he was always looking to the future. LOL

Seriously though... just a rumor on all this. Although I would agree it needs a change away from whatever it is they decided to hodge podge together as a Tomorrowland, I doubt they will be doing anything in the near future.

Well they will have to give Autopia a nice long refurb, as their contract with chevron runs out in 2010, and they haven't been to pleased with chevron. Also another rumor is Microsoft will completely take over Innoventions, right now the second floor is pretty empty.
As soon as all the work is done on DCA, I assume that Disney will either start making plans for TL, they probably are thinking of stuff for DCA, espically the Autopia and the PPM track, now that plans are about complete with DCA.

I trust the new heads of control at Disney to bring nothing but good things to both parks. Everything pretty much sounds good from what I hear about DCA. I do wish they could make Space Mountain a bit longer and/or add a loop. But we all know how easy (not) that is. I would like to have the Stitch Escape ride in Tomorrowland like WDW though, looks fun.

I think WDW Tomorrowland needs more of an overhaul.
I even came up with ideas (you can visit the thread in the So You wanna be an imagineer section).

^And why's that. Currently in Tomorrowland:
Inoventions is currently going under renovation, rumored says that microsoft is going to sponser the downstairs part of inoventions until 2009-2010. Thats not very long at all. At the moment, the upstairs part of Innoventions houses a few game consoles, a talk to stitch thing, and the Asimo exhibit, along with a ton of empty space!

We have a HUGE structure that until recently was completly empty, that now houses a small store. The rest is a centerpiece object, made from on old dumbo type ride, and an empty rocket rods loading platform. Around the entire area, is an old track thats very rusty in some places. We still have a very old 3D show, that has pretty low attendance compared to other shows. And the second floor of the arcade has been empty for a long time (don't say the x-wing is there because it techincally is haning so it isn't on the second floor )
and one re-opened attraction FNSV

WDW
An outdated Space Mountain (it can get a refurb without the entire tomorrowland getting overhauled)
A full arcade, no empty spaces in there.
A Stich attraction ( forgot the name of it sorry!) a brand new attraction! NOt at any other park
Monsters inc Laugh Floor comedy club another brand new attraction, that currently isn't at any other parks.
A working Peoplemover System
And i'll tell you this, Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe OWNS compared to the Tomorrowland Terrace, and its pretty fun watching all the AA's Singing and playing. I think WDW's tomorrowland is set for a while :)

Really People, Disneyland Tomorrowland needs a complete makeover, like the one in 1998! most of our rides are outdated (HISTA, PM track) and some others are kinda empty (Innoventions).

Of course it needs an overhaul... The ugly rocks in the front prevent any normal use of the walking space there, a hideous spiny thing that doesn't match the rest of the land anymore, an empty track with a loading dock that makes the place look sad, another pointless spiny thing that used to be a great attraction and much more. But I would say not an overhaul anywhere near what 1998's was. That was the most horrid thing Disney could ever have done. *shudders just thinking about it*
