Rockin' Space Mountain to return in 2008? - Page 2

I just came back from Disneyland and when I rode Space Mountain, there was DUCT TAPE on the handrails. My opinion is that if you need duct tape for any ride, then it needs a refurishment.

by hand rails do you mean the ones in the queue or on the trains be more specific....but yea I to the other day rode space mountain and one of the trains front seat had tape on it

I'm talking about the hand rails on the very front of the trains. It also made the rail very sticky, much to my cousin's chagrin.

Sorry to bring up such a dead thread, but i don't know any other place to put this.

Here is a video by break09. When the ride was broken and the rockets were being pushed back down to the station, the wheels were making a loud squeaking noise.

Yeah, and They should try and do something so people have a bit more load time, becuase it probably has an average of three or four E-stops a day, and thats not really a good thing. Last time i went a couple weeks ago i was on the ride during two of them, and waiting in line for three of them, i knew it was an E-stop, because it was only down for about 20 minutes. But lots of people still left anyway.

If they did bring back rockin' space mountain, then they should pick another song rather than the RHCP. For Example, THROUGH THE FIRE AND FLAMES by DRAGONFORCE. It goes PERFECTLY with the ride. Me and Spaceventure listen to it on the ride and its sooooooo fun because the song goes with the drop and turns and EVERYTHING!! Hit up spaceventure if you want the song. Anyway, i prefer SM to be as is, but a refurb would help to, but i would hate space mountain to be closed due to a refub because there would be NO SPACE MOUNTAIN!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!! lol.

Yes perfectly because the ride lasts 2 minutes and the song is a little over six :) But you know if they edited it it'd turn out pretty well.

I have edited it to go perfectly with the ride from start to beginning I use the on board audio up until the third lift then Dragonforce kicks in, goes perfect from when it says S77 to welcome back space travelers

^Thats gonna be a no, its against VF guidelines to upload or share any copyrighted material. Now if its a quick start the song at 4:00 and then jump to this part, then you could get the song and do it yourself.
