Exclamation Return of the Country Bears?

According to my sis (a cm) Disney is talking about replacing the Golden Dreams attraction at DCA with the Country Bears. They did not say specificaly whether it would be the original, the vacation hoedown, or a new show. If they do go foward with it, then WTP would go down for a little bit in order to take out max, buff, and melvin. what are your thoughts? i've never seen Golden Dreams, is it worth replacing?

I say yes just because I've never seen CBJ, or GD. I think it should though as far as how amny people miss the show. But the thing is, everybody says CBJ is coming back, but where? And how do you know? So I don't know if this is true or not. But I say yes.

This has been discussed many times before in other threads. I highly doubt they will. Nothing new has ever been presented to think otherwise. Here again just because a CM says they heard it doesn't make it true. Not saying they are lyers, but it is a rumor. Now in my opinion, they should remove Golden Dreams because it is an absolute flop and was a waste of a short period in my life I want ever get back. I loved CBJ and I do hope they bring it back.

Also if they bring back the CBJ this would bring more people to DCA

I would love to see the Bears return, but not in Golden Dreams. I think it's a fantastic film that's really DCA's heart and soul.

The Bears would be much better suited in a theater in the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail area.

I want to see them come back. I want to see a new show with them as long as they don't make it too hip and cool (Tiki Room Under New Management). I loved the bears.

I say no because I think they should keep original DL stuff in DL. It would be like moving Fantasmic! over to the water in front of Paradise Pier

Golden Dreams is housed in a replica of the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, itself a holdover from a World's Fair.

So what do the Country Bears have to do with San Francisco?

^They can always remove that area and put a bigger San Fransisco area in the Timon parking lot.

Yea, put it where Golden Dreams is, there's no point of GD anyways if no one goes in.

No one goes in huh? It might not be a big draw, but the parks are made up of both large and small attractions. Having the little things make the parks special. Not everything can be a huge E-ticket.

The film certainly has a place in the park. As I said before it's really the heart and soul of the park. There are plenty of people who visit the attraction every day and love it.

The Little Mermaid Ride is replacing Golden Dreams.

Well, since the Little Mermaid is going where Golden Dreams is now, I don't think that's gonna happen.

I think that bringing CBJ to DCA would be an excellent idea, though. I think the bears would fit in perfectly. After all, the park icon AND California's flag is a bear.

How about replacing the Redwood Creek Challenge Trial? I know it has some people in it everyday, but CBJ has more sense than Brother Bear, since that film is set in Northern America.
