no i haven't, but im going to magic music days next winter. Was the bus a disney bus or was it like a provided bus that disney gave them? And did u see the area that was pointed out? Was it just empty. I haven't seen to many open areas around there. I hope that this is true

I don't think a waterpark would be good for DLR. Because they are open only 1 time a year (summer). And it would only take up space. But I am not sure if Disney Waterparks are open year round, are they? That would be soo cool. Maybe not in Florida but in CA they could be!

I don't think a water park is a good idea for the Disneyland Resort. It's likely to just cause more congestion and headaches. If guests want to swim, they can swim at their hotel pools. Disneyland Resort is unique; the more you pack in there, the more time people need to see it all (though I guess that does mean more money for them). However, many people have water parks near their homes. Who goes to Disneyland just to waste a day there swimming?

^- You obviously have never been to a water park. First off. I think some waterparks are more fun than some theme parks. Waterparks, there is actual fear when you look down the huge drop of the speed slide. It's not just excitement to go on a rollercoaster or such. Waterparks hold somthing that most theme parks miss. And if there was one in DLR. It wouldnt effect it much, just make it more popular. Plus disney actually puts pride in their water parks by using extreme themeing and high level of detail in there waterparks as opposed to a plastic tube just sitting there. I was at raging waters on monday and I had a blast. I felt like crap when I came home but it was the most fun ive almost ever had. But look at Blizzard Beach. One of americas best waterparks (number 2, raging waters was number 3 and schiltterbahn was 1).

The area the bus driver pointed out to me was on a whole diffrent block then Disneyland so it would not congest it except maybe draw more people to purchase the season passes to include the water park. I think it would be interesting to see what developes if something does guess we will see in 3 years lol. Adrienne |

A Water Park as a stand-alone attraction would be a mistake.
They should do what the premier theme park in the UK (Alton Towers) did. Incorporate a water park into a (probably current in Disney's case) hotel. Splash Landings, the hotel that does this, has such a great atmosphere because of this, that rivals Disneylands! And it's such a good way to have people look at the quality of hotels and be willing to stay there. Would make the experience of staying over at the Disneyland Resort even more magical than it is currently! |

actually i believe that rumor because my dad had a customer back in california who did construction for DCA and he gave me all these neat construction photos of grizzly but anywho, he said that disney is planning to build one in the years to come in one of the parking lots. so i believe the rumor.
