WDW already had the Many Adventure of Winnie the Pooh before DLR got theirs. It replaced Mr. Toads Wild Ride.

Back to the point. Honestly, there are some good and bad in Pixar taking over Disney. Who knows about how well or bad Finding Nemo: Submarine Voyage will be. From the looks of DaddyB's updates, it looks pretty good. Hopefully, the attraction will also be good.
Unfortunately, there's nothing much that we can do about it. All I hope is that the Pixar take-over will be over. Honestly, as most of you are, I'm getting upset about this. I hope that Disney will not push it too far that I don't want to go back to Disneyland again.

you know i have had some pretty awesome thoughts about a new CBJ and i was planning on sending in my ideas yet again to good ol' DL but after seeing what they have planned for Golden Dreams, im sure i'll be shoved away like a fly at a picnic table.. T_T it was cool.

Here is what i came up with so far...

New Title: The Country Bears: Across California

or...

The Country Bears: California or Bust! (I like this one more!)

The show would include all 15 bears and 3 heads singing and dancing like the good old days in Critter Country. The show order would also remain the same.

Some of the songs i came up with for them to sing would be a lot of old Disney classics as well as Western favorites:
Opening song: Zip-A-Zee-Do-Dah (sung by the 5 Bear Rugs)
Trixie: Walking on Sunshine
Sun Bonnets: Route 66 (this would be so awesome!!)
The 5 Bear Rugs would return to sing: You Are my Sunshine
Teddy Berra: California Dreamin'
The Finale song would be: California Here I Come

Now these were just some songs i could think of for some of the bears. but the whole show would focus on each of the bears and their way to get to California. One reason i think we lost the bears in the first place was not only because of the popularity of Winne the pooh, but the songs used in the show. I dont think they were all that familiar to the age groups that were exposed to it in its final years. but the location of Golden dreams would be perfect, when you are on your way, you pass by a Giant Grizzly Bear and when you exit you meet him again. The bears are really a sign of California Pride!!! They deserve to come back in all their Glory!! Im sure if Disney brought back these bears anywhere in the resort, they would get a whole lot more people to come visit....The Country Bears are just like the subs, but just a step behind. They had their chance, they faded but were never forgotten, but revived for the better and the enjoyment of all. The bears can do it too, we need to give them a chance!!

Hehe... never meant to rant, but i would never be able to sleep if i didn't shove that out there! so..... what do you think? im not done yet obviously i have concept art to work on too XD but that is for another post!!! im off to bed!!

^ Pretty cool, but that's more Imagineer board business if you plan to add on to it.
Unfortunately, I doubt fan mail would change any of Disney's plan for adding The Little Mermaid attraction where Golden Dreams is now. If Disney continues to make quality (Or even much better quality) attractions in DCA like Toy Story Mania, then I'm sure whatever is done to Golden Dreams will be really quite golden in the end.

and recently I heard that muppets might be made into something else too, which sucks because who doesn't love the muppets?

OMG!! Holy Moley!!!
ok you know what my Disney luck could be changing!! ok ok!! we went to Disneyland yesterday, yea? ok so i went over to Indy because i wanted to go on it right? ok so. i have my pins on and the CM is all like wow you have a lot of cool pins! what is your favorite? and i had to pick my new favorite one. (it is the ultimate pin for me! it is Goofy and Big Al singing on the CBJ stage with Max, Buff, and Melvin on it!) and im all like yea its my favorite character and my favorite show. and he was all like yea its been a while since they were here... but i have heard recently that they could make their home in DCA soon. and im all like i hope so!! and i cross my fingers! and he was like you keep them crossed!! and he smiled!!! sooo you see VF our bears are trying to make a comeback!!! lets just hope all these rumors become a reality!!! :)

Yeah I hope the muppets don't go either, I love them too! they're also getting a show on Disney Channel next week with some Disney channel stars called "Studio DC: Almost Live". I just hope it lasts a long time!

As for the Country Bears thing, That'd be awesome to be able to see the country bears for once in my life!
