Default Possible rumors of King Tritons Garden removed

Possible rumors of King Triton's Garden removed

a friend went to visit Disneyland awhile back and was kinda upset she is a big fan of the little mermaid and when she went to meet her Cm's with the mermaid said that this area would soon be pixie hollow and a Tinkerbell meet and greet has anyone heard about this and if King Triton garden has already been removed?

I really thought they would of just used the old skyway loading area in fantasyland for a Tinkerbell meet and greet then to get rid of the Ariel meet and greet lol

Arrow It's not just a rumor

It's not just a rumor. The construction walls are already up. The OC Register reported on it today:

Ariel’s Meet & Greet area closed for new Tinker Bell area

It's being discussed in the Disneyland Park forum:

I Do Believe In Fairies.. and They're Real!

Why on earth wouldn't they wait a couple of weeks and do this after summer was over?? People--especially parents of little girls--are going to be so disappointed =(

Ariel is supposedly over in the Princess Fantasy Faire, but as the now human form that married Prince Eric.

I guess pixie dust will be on the ground going towards the meet and greet area for the new pixie thing there. Kinda funny that the old House of the Future area is now this. What a twist.

When i heard about the whole meet and greet tink thing i really thought for sure they would use the old fantasyland sky way station it must be in real bad shape, too small, or too expensive for them to just neglect it this long and must be a lot cheaper and easier to just destroy the Ariel meet and greet. Plus it was probably a lot easier to explain why there is a mermaid Ariel and a human Ariel i different area's at different times in the park lol

Well, there goes one dream squad location.

They gave out dream fastpasses there. Its quite special to me because I won my first set at Triton's Garden.

i can answer a couple of questions here. it is actually very logical
1. they are starting work now a little before the end of summer because they want the tink meet and greet up and running in time for the dvd release
2. they are destroying ariel's garden for it because she is not only getting a new meet and greet area but almost her own land over in DCA
so yeah there you go

wow destroying is a harsh word hehe. I'm sad it's going away cause I love the King Triton pool. We'll see though, I bet the fairies are going to be really cool too :)

I'm amazed even this many people realized Triton's garden was there.

The Pixie Hollow area might be cute, but I'll miss Triton's Gardens. They were so nice and tranquil.
