Why on earth would you want to put Woody's Round-up ride iunder or next to CA Screamin' ? It doesn't even go with the theme. OK after reading that article the only thing I think I am happy about is the possibility of a water show.

Yeah, I like that part too, but I agree with you about Woody's Round up and I'm on the fence about the entrance changes. It seems to me that money would be far better spent on rides.

^^^Indeed, Watershow + placemaking = much better

Woody's Roundup in Paradise Pier? I much as I hate to say it, but this would be more appropriate at Frontierland...

I think WDI needs to put some focus on the theming mish-mash in DCA. I walk around DCA and I am completely aware I am in Anaheim.

Exactly. Why spend all that money on it when it really doesn't look that bad. For now anyways. Spend that money on rides and shows. The whole park in general was poorly planned in my opinion. And now they have the fun job of trying to organize it. Can I slap them or does anyone else want to first? Oh and do we really need anohter Pixar ride? Is that it? Is this where Disney is going to go from now on? revamp old rides to movies or if a movie is not around for it to be revamped to then just revamp it and build anyhting Pixar. What happened to using your imagination?

I would go balistic if they decided to do something like that.

I think the money is going exactly where it should go. I'm glad they're biting the bullet and fixing some of the fundamental problems in the park's design. They have put a lot of money into new attractions in the past, and even with big budget attractions like TOT, people still didn't come. I think this is what they need to do to get people in the door.

About Woody's Round up, as much as I don't think that would fit at all, I'm honestly kind of glad Frontierland is getting spared from the cartoon invasion. Paradise Pier was a lost cause from the very beginning, IMO, so it can't get any worse.

My experience in DCA is very limited. Into the entrance, hang a right at the toy store past the train to Soarin' and out the same way. The entrance is so boring I am never inspired to go any further. I think a Craftsman style entrance (which, fortunately, will go with the murals, the only things worth keeping in the "strip mall" that welcomes us now) will be a huge improvement. It will bring class to the joint.

Yeah the front of the park. Where the golden Gate bridge is and the huge CALIFORNIA sign is, is great! But as soon as you pass its like any other theme park.
