Official Post of Rumors on the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster coming to California Adventure

I've been hearing rumors of the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster coming over to California Adventure for the last couple of years, and since I can niether find any info on whether or not this rumor is true, nor did I find a Rumor Mill post on whether or not this is true. I decide to start a post myself about it. Post here if you have any info on the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, or if you just want to say that you wish it was coming here.

The bloody rumor that will never die.

This *rumor* has been dead for months now. Rock n' Roller Coaster is NOT coming to HPB or anywhere else. There is an old thread in the Rumor Mill on the old boards which includes many a link by myself confirming this fact. The reason you can't find anything reflects just how long this rumor has been dead for. To repeat: no Rock n' Roller Coaster in HPB.

I'm going to laugh so hard if July 17th comes around and Ouimet makes a surprise announcement that a new rock'n'roller coaster is coming for DCA after all the campaigning PPM has done to squash that rumor

I highly doubt that Disney would waste thier money on a pathetic ecxuse for a backbreaker, AKA Rockin..

your 2 cents arent very well founded as space mountain is the first coaster youve "been on".

Well, as much as I disagree with the attack itself, is icarian's comment really against guidelines? Hyperion 77 put that fact out in the open in the Space/Rock It Mountain thread, so it's not really a "something personal."

Back to normal person! Anyhoo, I'm not a huge coaster fan, but if I was one or not, I'd always prefer to have something new rather than the physical equivalent of a port.

My sister recently went to California Adventure and she was talking to a CM on Tower of Terror and he said that by 2007 there will be a new rollercoaster built behind Tower by the parking lot. He didn't say what type but he did say he has heard all over that there will be a new rollercoaster.

The quotation of Icarian's post was not meant to direct blame at any one particular person. I saw some negative aspects from another thread manifesting itself here and thought a warning was needed.

Yeah, I heard it would be coming to. I hope. It would be great in the Hollywood Backlot next to the Tower of Terror, and it would give the park what it needs.

I don't think the DLR needs another rollercoaster in the dark, when there is Space Mountain, 500ft away from the Hollywood Pictures Backlot.
