Matterhorn is way overdue for a rehab. Usually it goes down in the fall but it couldn't last year by order of the Ouimet that nothing be closed during the 50th & no construction happen at all. Well they didn't make that 100% obviously, but many rides refurb schedules were stretched around the 50th & once the 50th is over you'll see a lot of rides hit refurb time sooner rather than later. Good to see Matterhorn at the top of the list.

That's not bad. It'll be up in time for the holidays, esp. Thanksgiving.

Rides and Attractions deserve great care. If they don't had a refurbishment, the ride will broke down and it will likely to cause accidents. Especially Matterhorn, it is a very old ride. Disney should make it smoother, like SM. So it won't be a unstable bumpy mountain adventure. I think they are inspecting the tracks, the Yeti AA, and the brakes.

except that it ALLLLWAYS ends up that way anyways heh. They need to do a good good good refurb/reimagineering for once just to build it so it doesn't need the lengthy refurbs all the time. Maybe they can add Jack Sparrow while they're at it =D

I was thinking Cuba Gooding Jr. and the snow dogs. I like how jerky the ride is. It gives it it's character. But I do agree it needs a nice refurb. I got some of it on tape. There was spots near the ground where the rockwork was breaking and the track looked pretty rusty and worn.

i also like the bumpyness. your in a bobsled, would feel smooth running over rocks and branches? i tink its just a regular checkup.

I hope the don't change it. I wonder if RDCT will be effected by the refurb.

The refurb is in the off-season(school season) meaning that RDCT will either go on haitus or only be on weekends so it wont affect it much.
