probably nothing! They are still riding high on the 50th celebration. to remind everyone it is the 51st birthday would confuse people who do not pay attention. make sense? lol

The 50th celebration will last through September 30th.

...and the rumor is, straight from the mouths of 2 City Hall castmembers this evening:

Look for a little something over Sleeping Beauty's Castle Monday morning.

Talk about a photo op!

The Mickey Mouse Hot Air Balloon may very well be floating over the castle tomorrow morning!

Also, there may be a 10am (rope drop) ceremony with Matt Ouimet... or there may not.

Someone is reporting the rumor that the 51st birthday ceremony will be at 4:45PM...

What time was Walt's speech in 1955? 4:30?

anyway, those are the rumors I've picked up so far.

Oh Daddy B, I sure hope you're going to be there to take pictures for all of us that can't be there!!! I'd love to see the Mickey hot air ballon!

Disneylandnews.com has a picture of the balloon on the front page of its site. It's a pretty neat balloon!

Well, humph! I really wanted to see that balloon! And, of course, I start my new temporary job this morning. Now the debate... do I try to make it to DL after work in hopes that I can still get in? Be a grown up, Deb. (My inner child is in a knock-down-drag-out with the grown-up one. Who will win?)
