This is my favorite ride at Disneyland. It would make WDW better, but it's just not as special as Disneyland. On a busy summer day my mom and I went on it 7 times. Anything to help WDW get slightly better probably is a good idea.

I honestly don't see the point of them making an Indy ride.
Countdown to Extinction ala Dinosaur now. is esentialy the same thing. In fact the cars they use are the exact same cars. So it would be just redundant in my oppinion.

I agree...the dinosaur ride uses the exact same cars! If they were to build an Indy ride they should make it a roller coaster ride similar to the mine chase scenes in Temple of Doom!

Huh? The IJA in Tokyosea is great too, like our Anaheim counterpart. The temple is bigger and has a lot of space for theme and detail.

But the one here in Disneyland CA is the original and it is first EMV vehicle used for Indy back in 1995.

On dinosaur the jeep isn't the only thing thats the same. The track layout is very simmialar, i closed my eyes through the whole ride and just pitucred indiana jones, the part with the big snake i opened my eyes but instead there was a dinosaur. At the very end instead of a boulder its a dinosaur and there is a drop. Does anyone know if in indy at the end with the drop is it a ramp that the jeep drives down or a lift that drops quickly, or is it both?

It's a drop, the jeep goes down. The walls move foward to open up the drop for the jeep to go down. The jeeps aren't supposed to go backwards. It will cost a shut down.

Did I spoil you?

NO INDY ON WDW PLEASE!!! they have phillarmagic, stitchs great scape, test track, mission space, carrousel of progress, and great movie ride to mention a few, they already rip-off soarin' and did a copy of matterhorn(everest),they are taking away DLR's unique elements, its not fair since its the original, and the one Walt himself saw and walked through it for almost 12 years, COME ON DISNEY, YOU'RE BETTER THAN THAT!!

Everest is a copy of Matterhorn in that it's a coaster in a snowy mountain & that's about it. And, Everest will be in Animal Kingdom, not between Fantasyland & Tomorrowland. That makes a big difference. Remember clones are going both ways & WDW is 47 square miles. There's room to put a wee bit more in than Disneyland. Does that therefore mean its better? No, just means they sport 4 theme parks, 3 water parks & a gazillion on-property hotels. The secret is Disneyland CA holds more stuff in its one park than any 1 park in WDW by a very wide margin.

by the way.. they should really bring alien encounter and mission to mars over here.. i mean seriously.. it's a great trade off! and tomorrowland needs to replace honey i shrunk the... blah.. so yea.. it's a great idea!!!
