I'ts been my experience that most guests don't take to 3-d shows as much as, say, an actual ride-through. whenever I've been to HISTA and to a lesser extent ITTBAB it's been deserted, on my last visit my little cousins were very unimpressed with the ride, which is amazing considering how easily impressed they are (they are the kind of kids that demand to have those little light-up whirleymajigs the guys in the rave outfits sell).

While that would be a challenge politically, I do believe it's certainly possible that if Jay Rasulo was presented with the right means of putting a permanent Hannah Montana 3D show in a park, he would get behind it. It could happen.

It will probably never happen, but I think they need to say goodbye to the Imagination Institute and say hello to the Tomorrowland Interplanetary Convention Center.... if you know what I mean.

Hannah Montana, the Jonas Brothers, Zac Effron, and Ashley Tisdale in Toy Story in Space, a Pixar film. Ha ha just kidding,

I actually would not mind Wall-E. (For Disneyland not Epcot.)

I feel alone here HISTA is my second favorite attraction in the park!! I guess it's because I grew up the movies? I agree that it's now unpopular but there are other Imagination Institute's in other Disney parks around the world so I guess someone else enjoys them as me. A new attraction would be nice but I say they should give the public what they want and rebuild the Peoplemover! as to a new show if it must be done I say something that would fit tomorrowland because frankly I cant stand any more Pixar in tomorrowland.

IMO, three things need to be done:

1)Make the mice effect less intense
2)Clear up the film (the same goes for Muppets)
3)Fix up the right side of the screen during the shrunken parts

I think even Disney understands that Hannah Montana won't work in Disneyland. (At least on a permanent basis). And while I must concede that Disney has made some pretty silly decisions in the past, they usually learn from their mistakes... usually. Anyways, Hannah wouldn't be able to be permanent, for the same reason that Disney Afternoon Avenue couldn't be permanent (and wasn't designed to be anyways). It's Disney Daytime TV. It simply isn't designed to last or carry interest for THAT long. Even the Mickey Mouse Club is gone, kids today have never heard of it. Anyways... let's keep our shorts on, Disney is spending big money on fixing DCA from this sort of thing, are they really going to rid DCA of the rats and send them to Disneyland? But how 'bout something creative... I saw a video on youtube from an old attraction at epcot where they previewed upcoming attractions. (I dunno, maybe it's still there) They demonstrated and full-encompassing VR helmet, with true stereo. You sat on a motion-simulating platform, and were immerssed into the world of Aladdin. Soaring through the streets of Agrabah and rising to the upmost heights of the sky. What happened to this? Or a new incarnation of this technology. That would be a solid D ticket right?

I remember playing that video game. It had been in Disneyland for a while after Aladdin had come to theaters. It was really fun. I agree that they could do more with this technology than they are and maybe make some new things with it for attractions. I however don't think HISTA's rat effect is intense at all. If anything it sometimes doesn't work. The little whippy tail thing coming from under the seat is really cool. But the show is old and needs a new makeover to be fun again.

Funny you should phrase it that way, I had a pretty good idea for something to replace it. I even made a YouTube video about it.

Originaly Michael Eisner wanted Splash Mountain to be based on the movie Splash. Which of course most people today do not remember. so you never know what they might do.
