Fantasmic, as far as I'm concerned, is perfect. I don't feel the need for improvment when it makes me cry every time I watch it.

I could just be the score that does it to me.

I really should admit, however, that the water screens are getting boring. It was entertaining at first, but I find the live action sequences much more entertaining.

Much of the magic of Fantasmic at DL resides in the fact that during the day people walks and plays around the "stage" (Rivers of America/Tom Sawyer's Island) and then, after it gets dark, we'll see people sitting around the river's edge and suddenly enormous spotlight towers appear to come out of nowhere, and then a band performs on the rafts; and I believe that for newcomers this setting feels more interesting than just waiting two hours at a huge amphitheater (as in MGM's version).

And for people that just have seen it, we can do some stuff (eat, shop, ride) and then have a walk and still get a spot to watch the show just minutes before it starts (unless it's a mega crowded day) instead of losing two or three hours of the day at the park as in WDW.

Unless something revolutionary comes, Fantasmic should just get updates on its scenes and upgrades on its effects, because it is still a Disneyland favorite.

Well, i do like the idea of an updated Fantasmic!

dont get me wrong, i love that show

and like everyone else who loves it as well, knows it by heart.

but you cant sit through it over and over and think in your head that
the show needs a little improvment and some changes

with the new movies out

and the popular new "remember"

i think we will all move on

in fact this Christmas Season I really Missed seeing "Believe...In Holiday Magic!" I was glad to see snow

but it just wasnt the same

but i got over it

like everything else that is changed or taken away from us ( as disney fans )

so

I kinda look forward to a Fantasmic II!

I love WDW fantasmic but I really wish we had the Peter Pan scene. I too like the Pocahontis scene too but the Pirate ship is just too cool! I can't wait to see it live.
