Default Enclosing the Fantasyland Theatre

According to this piece on The Disney Blog:
Interesting Disneyland Rumor
Quote:
Disneyland might finally take the plunge and enclose the Fantasyland Theatre. This would allow them to put on productions with Broadway caliber sets and talent at two locations in the Disneyland Resort (Hyperion Theatre at California Adventure, being the other).

this is good because then they will be able to use more broadway effects (things coming from the ceiling, lighting, etc).

^Yeah? your point? If you haven't noticed they change things all the time. Fantasayland theater has many shows, and an attraction. Yea i agree with them it is quite cramped behind There, we used that area to get to plaza gardens when i went to magic music days. I was wondering why there were tunnels to different places in the round.

I remember when it was Videopolis LOL. Gosh that was along time ago. Anyway, I wonder how it will look as an enclosed theatre. Will it make the area look different? I mean, you will be seeing this huge building and walls. I kinda like the open feeling to it. It also doesn't take away from the feel of the area.

Nope, it looked pretty much just like it does now except it was for dancing and such.

...but a roof is not a building such as the Hyperion. If they really want a theatre for big-time productions, they're going to need everything that comes with a building - structure, walls, insulation, etc. Otherwise folks in line for IASW are going to be hearing a great deal of whatever Broadway-esque show is going on.

Yes, a long time ago there was a movie theater in Fantasyland. I came across a photo of it on another site... it was in Fantasyland proper in the same wing of the castle as Alice.

Actually, the Mickey Mouse Theater was where Pinocchio's Daring Journey is now, if I recall my facts correctly.
