The VF Picture Battle is back for a third installment! If you're new to the battle, or just need a refresher, here are the rules:
1. I will begin by posting a picture and a caption. This will officially start the game.
2. The next contestant (it can be anyone) must then post a picture and caption that trumps mine.
3. The contestant after that will then post a picture and a caption that trumps the second picture, and so on and so forth.
So how do you trump another's photo? Well, it can occur either through the photo or the caption. The photo doesn't even need to be related to the previous photo, as long as the caption can sufficiently explain why it trumps. A good explanation could be had in two or three sentences, so try to keep your captions to that length. If you want to see some examples of how the game works, previous picture battles can be found here and here

After a short hiatus, the VF Picture Battle is back for a second round. Applause, Applause!
So, how's the Picture Battle work? Glad you asked. I will start by posting a picture and caption. The next participant must then post a picture and caption to trump mine. And then someone will post a picture and caption to trump the second person's entry. And so on and so forth.
You can post a picture, even one that seems unrelated to the picture before, and have the caption explain why it trumps. A good explanation can usually be had in 2-3 sentences. Anything longer, and it probably isn't that good of a picture. For some examples of this, please refer to the last Picture Battle. Please note this is not a "post random images you think are funny" thread. This is a game, though not one with a clear winner. It's just to see how much fun we can have and how creative we can get trumping each other's pictures.

Taking an idea from one of the forums I used to frequent, it's time for a picture battle! Essentially, what happens is somebody posts a picture and writes a caption. And it's up to the next person to trump that picture.

Don't quite understand what I mean? I'll explain. Say somebody posts a picture of a vampire. You could post a picture of a werewolf, or a picture of another vampire with a caption stating "My vampire > your vampire".
Another example; back on this other forum, somebody posted a picture of that superhero movie with Tim Allen getting beat by a rock monster. I posted a picture of Blastoise from Pokemon with the caption "Blastoise used Hydro Pump. It's super effective!" (get it? water beats rock). Someone then posted a picture of turtle soup with the caption "Your Blastoise has been defeated."

Essentially, if you think your picture or caption can trump the person before, then post it! It could even be somewhat unrelated to the picture before, as long as the caption shows why it trumps (look at the examples above.) Just remember where we're at. Nothing over PG-13, please. And don't just post random images you think are funny.

(If you're still confused, don't hesitate to send me a message. This isn't really to determine a winner, just to have some fun.)

If you are the one posting the puzzle, you can post a Character, Place, or Thing from inside the Disneyland resort, past or present. However, you MUST post what the puzzle is (Character, place, or thing) at the beginning of your puzzle.

Please don't guess if you know you aren't going to be on for an extended period of time. In the case that someone guesses correctly and is not back on for some time, 48 hours past confirmation the person who posted the most recent quote may post another or pass play to anyone else. Do not post thing such as "When will we get the next quote?" or "I'm getting bored over here." or anything like that. They do not help, and will be viewed as 'flooding' of the boards, which is against the Guidelines.

In the spirit of keeping the game moving, if one week passes without a correct guess, current control holder may pass play to whomever has guessed closest thus far in their mind, or keep control, if they deem most fit.
