Lazy Sundays at the Theatre will present Disney or Disneyland music performed in a style you just might hear at and old fashioned Theatre or Movie Palace. The Theatre Organ will be prominently featured on the show, as will El Capitan House organists Rob Richards and John Ledwon, though other easy listening Disney renditions might very well make appearances.

Lazy Sundays at the Theatre airs Sunday afternoons, start times vary, though Lazy Sundays will carry the Radio into the scheduled Disneyland Source Podcast show Sunday evenings.

Halloween is here, and to commemorate this maglificent occasion, VF Radio will feature Halloween and other 'scary' music or audio. Accordingly, On Friday, October 30, beginning at 6:66pm (that's 7:06pm Pacific Time), VF Radio Requests is allowing unlimited requests on all Halloween- or scary- related titles. That's right, if it's related to Halloween, eerie, kooky, or downright scary, you can request it without it counting toward your 3 titles per hour limit. We do ask, though, that you do not request titles that have recently played, scary or not. The special request-fest ends Sunday, November 1, at at 3:13am.

Here are just some of the titles ("searches") that qualify as Halloween or scary related:

• Haunted Mansion, Phantom Manor, or Haunted Mansion Holiday
• Tower of Terror
• Sci Fi Dine in Theater

2. Locate the Radio box on the right hand side of the window, directly below the Room directory and attendance panel.
3. Simply click "VF Radio - http://www.visionsfantastic.com:..." (first and only line of text in that field).

Visions Fantastic Radio Requests gladly accepts member contributions of Disney-related music, in digital form. If you are interested in donating music to VF Radio, here are the steps to take:

1. Search the VF Radio Requests database to see if the music you want to donate already exists on VF Radio. You can also Browse by Title, Artist, or Album. Note that the title/artist/album information attached to any title in the VF Radio Requests database may or may not match a music file that you have on your system. (E.G., Our "Disneyland - HM Full Attraction" may be the same as your "New Orleans - Haunted Ridethrough.) Check the length of the titles to further verify this.
2. Once you have checked that your file doesn't already exist in the VF Radio Database, send me a Private Message, letting me know what you'd like to donate.
3. I will send you simple instructions regarding how to send me your music for inclusion into the database.
4. The VF Radio Request System uses mp3s, sampled at 44100hz. Our preferred bit rate is 128kbps (the stream itself is 96kbps). If your files are .wav, .m4a, .wma, or are sampled at a rate other than 44.1kHz, don't fret. Let me know, and I'll convert them to a compatible format.
5. Sit back and wait for your music to be cataloged. Your music should appear in one of the first 'Recently Added' pages within a few days.

Using the flash player, the little "You're listening to Visions Fantastic Radio" clip keeps interrupting the music every 2 or 3 minutes. Is there a reason it's being played so often? I also notices it play whenever you start listening to the radio no matter what song is currently on.

This flash player is our new recommended player for listening to VF Radio. The primary reason for this is the flash player's persistence in correcting buffer over/under runs and sample/bit rate difference issues.

The Visions Fantastic Historical Spotlight show will feature a component of the Disneyland Resort, past or present, each episode. The subject matter of the episode is chosen for its importance and significance to the Walt Disney Company, popular culture (past or present), or to the general public.

If applicable, the show will evaluate:

1. Description of Subject
2. History
3. Importance or Significance
4. Fun Facts

If anyone has any info or ideas that might be relevant for the show, such as Ezra's tour we did after the last Hunt, let me know. Where appropriate, some shows will run as a simulcast to a Visions Fantastic's Disneyland Source Podcast episode (such as Historical Spotlight Episode 02 - Pirates of the Caribbean, simulcast to Podcast Episode 25 - Pirates Saaaarce), while others will be specifically adapted as a standalone VF Historical Spotlight feature.

I need some help with knowing the names of the songs that are played in all the main street area loops. My son who is now a true disneyland fan wants me to find out the names of the songs and how can I purchase them??? When we go to DLR on the weekends he makes us sit on a bench and just listen to the two songs he loves from main st. Can anyone help me in this situation???

with stuff like the jonas brothers, and miley cyrus; as well as playing songs from twlight such as "Decode" from paramore, i seriuosly think that radio disney is almost full of crap; nothing authentic to disney anymore. just a whole bunch of crazy screaming teenagers who would kill themselves if the jonas brothers died.
