But with this one, I'm hoping to create an open discussion about all things Kingdom Hearts, which has probably been the most successful Disney series of video games in quite some time.
So what are we going to talk about? Anything! Games (even those that have yet to come out like Kingdom Hearts 3D and the inevitable KHIII), characters, the stories, the worlds, the KH universe as a whole, stuff we liked, stuff we didn't like so much, stuff we'd like to see in future games, our initial reactions, the list goes on and on. Essentially, if it pertains to Kingdom Hearts, put it here, and let's see how many KH fans we have here on VF.
And to start, here's the official site for Kingdom Hearts 3D. It's in Japanese, of course, but it does include both trailers for the game so far. I've picked up the two latest games (358/2 Days for the DS and Birth by Sleep for the PSP) and I'm making my way through them. Birth by Sleep is easily one of my favorite games of the year, as the battle system is easily the best in the series.
But that's not all. Next year should see the release of a couple more games. Kingdom Hearts: Re: Coded for the DS should be released in January. The most recent issue of Nintendo Power had a 10-page article on the game and it looks great. Kingdom Hearts 3D (for the 3DS) could be released next year, at least in Japan. And both games are supposed to lead into Kingdom Hearts III, so after those games are released I don't imagine it will take too long for the first bit of news to trickle out about KH III.
So, is anybody playing Birth by Sleep or 358/2 Days? Where are you at in those games (please try to avoid spoilers of course). What do you think about Re: Coded and 3D? I haven't been around here for a very long time and coming back, I didn't see a topic about this, so this is as good a reason as any to make a reappearance.... ;)

I made a video on my YouTube channel about VMK, what is was, how much fun it was, and it's eventual demise. Without rehashing the video itself, someone saw the video and sent me a message, directing me to VMK Revisited.

This is not a full game, but, aside from Disney making a wise decision to reopen VMK, it's the closest we can get to reliving the memories. It's amazing for what it is!
