Any Disney Collections?

Do any of you collect anything Disney? Like a specific character or anything?

I collect anything and everything Eeyore!

And whenever i go to DL i have to get a new pair of ears! I just started this collection recently so i only have 3. Eeyore ears, Dumbo ears, and Minnie Ears (The bridal one with the veil)

I try to get a new stuffed Disney character everytime that I go, but it's very expensive. I got a Tigger hair tie the last time I went. This Thursday, I want to buy a Tigger or Pooh stuffed toy. :D

I buy those packs that contain small figures,they sell them in almost every store, i'm trying to collect all of them.

I collected Disney snowglobes, but now thats evolved into just snowglobes in general. I also started collecting Disney pins, but have since stopped. Right now, I am collecting Disney guidebooks, and Splash Mountain/Song of the South merchandise.
The Splash Mountain/Song of the South collection is fairly new, all I havve now is a couple of pins, some Disney Song of the South books, old childrens Brer Rabbit books(not Disney), a Splash Mountain snowglobe, and a Splash Mountain Sorry game. At one point I had a little Splash Mountain log with Brer Bear, and if you looked inside of it, it had a little 3D picture of the ride in it, but it has since dissapeared. Im working on getting the no longer sold Splash Mountain Diecast vehicle, but am having trouble obtaining it.

I collect Stitch and Princess Aurora also Ariel,
those are my top three favriotes, I collect basically pins, plush, or dolls
( hey don't make fun of me, I still love them) and of course new releases of
movies or games, and my mom already pre-ordered The Little Mermaid Special edition from the disney store, and I get this free lithiograph which is pretty cool!!

I collect anything Pirates of the Caribbean! I even have a POTC script that I got for my birthday. I also collect Disney stuffed animals and ICEE cups from the Disney on Ice shows.

If I had the money I would love to get my hands on some of the really collectable stuff, like paintings and movie reels and pictures.

Same here! I Love pirates! I just started a pirates collection. I have a shirt and sweatshirt i bought from the Disney Store, i saved my Pirates cup from the day i saw it in theaters and this huge pirates bag from the disney store lol oh and a notebook too

I started a Pin collection a few months ago. I started out only collecting Fantasmic! Pins, then expanded to Sorceror Mickey Pins, then I expanded to Ride Pins, and now I just collect the rare and valuable. I STILL NEED THAT MATER PIN!!! ITS SOOO RARE!!! :(

Im starting to collect smashed pennies cause they are cheap, easy to replace, and dont break easily. I only have like 6 though. My favorite is the Tiki room cause it fits with my Hawaiian themed room

-i collect a lot of buzz lightyear stuff...i actually got my mom to re-do my room space theme :P , my sheets are buzz, and pillows, stuffed animals, action figures....thers also stars on my ceiling ^_^
-i have lots of chicken little figurines

-and i have like over 90+ disney movies, from vhs to dvd....
my vhs cases are like turning yellow

Wow, good question. I seem to have a lot of stuff but never thought whether it fits into any collection themes. I have a lot of 50s stuff. Mostly, though, I think it all fits a "tribute to Walt" theme. When I was a kid I bought a poster of Walt Disney with characters swirling around his head (the most recent were Arthur and Merlin from Sword in the Stone if that gives you any idea how long ago it was.) I want to do a little vignette with that poster in the background, so I tend to buy stuff that would look good in and around that. I, too, started buying those collectible toys thinking to get a complete set, but they are already adding new characters to them and I can see this will go on forever, so I'm stopping all but the Star Tours sets. I had all of them but have to keep checking to see if there are any new ones. Finally, I have to get an escort for myself who will keep me out of a certain shop on Main Street so that I don't collect the new bronze statuettes.

I love my Disney Pins!! 5 bags full now!! I am fond of the nostalgic pins. But I love my Yensid pin.

I also collect Disney Books, mostly Disneyland books.

My collection has all KINDS of stuff starting with the very first Mickey Mouse plush I ever had as a kid....to the 1972 (yes 1972) copyrighted picture disc of Main Street Electrical parade...to a Mickey plush that I bought when I was about 7 which at that time was almost as big as I was....to all my cast member stuff!

My heart and money belong to Stitch! :tongue: I've made a little Stitch shrine on the shelf above my computer. It has Stitch figurines, picture frames, etc. I've also bought tons of Stitch pins which fill up about two lanyards and I have a mini collection of Stitch plushies. If it has Stitch on it, you can bet I've probably bought it! :biggrin:

to the 1972 (yes 1972) copyrighted picture disc of Main Street Electrical parade I have that too! It's a 7in black vinyl picture disk. Instead of Pete's Dragon, there's a sequence called The Angry Dragon, and the graphic on the disk is of a long Chinese-New-Year-style dragon, behind Mickey of course. :redface:


I have very ornate brass letter opener in the shape of a pirate sword I bought at Pieces of Eight when I was 10 years old! On of very few items from that time that didn't get lost. :frown:

My most precious posession is a poster tube full of model sheets, the kind Disney used to use to train the new animators to draw the classic characters. :eek: :biggrin:

Collect? Just the pins. I love Tinkerbell and Eeyore so I have some stuffed animals and sweatshirts and whatnot but I don't really collect those. I have to buy pins when I go to Disneyland every year, I buy the attraction pins. Those are more fun than collecting just random pins.

I guess my collection is Photos Lots and Lots of Disneyland photos! Did I say Lots!? lol Well next to that Tinkerbell items seem to be my collected items of choice.

I collect pins, maps, fastpasses, and ears. I always get two new pins everytime I go and if there is a new map I get one, and if I see a new hat I like I get it and I save every fastpass I get.

I collect ephemera -- all the paper stuff that was meant to be disposed of...the cards they put on your nightstand at the DLR hotels, menus, ticket stubs, schedules, coaters, napkins, etc, etc...

I have all the park maps and tickets (Except for the year I had an AP) from every trip i've been on since I was three. I collect the parking stubs.

We have quite a Donald and Figaro collection going on (my husband loves Donald and I love Figaro) Lately I have been collecting attraction posters. We have 2 dispaly figures from the old Disney stores, and 4 framed artworks from the PPH before they re-modeled it.

Basically we do not have a certain thing that we collect, if we like it, we get it. ALthough, we have both been saying that the house is almost all Disney, so we might be cutting back:smile:

I collect all the Old metal lunch boxes from Disneyland. I have a 1955 Disneyland castle one and a 1959 Monorail /Matterhorn just to name a few.

Nice collections! adrianne and disneylover, you both just reminded me what i forgot to mention, i also collect the Park maps (just started that this year), and also the tickets to enter the park...i keep them in my wallet right where i can see them so that when i open it up i automatically put a smile on my face! = ]
