i gonna make a splash mtn recreation and i need help wit some of the scenery so can n e of u help me

umm... I think we already have someone doing that for our DLR Project, but that doesnt matter... good luck with that! ^_^
i am having a little problem on the third drop and i don't know what's wrong just all of a sudden it stops right after the chain lift and i don't know how to fix it so does any 1 have any ideas

^^wait sora i thought the other guy on the atari boards was doing Splash MTN?? You said just critter country (i guess that'd include splash mtn) but IDK just do it anyways because i haven't heard from the other dude so i have no idea.

i finaly got it fixed and it is doin great now all i need is the music and the billboards

i'm not nealy done, i still have to put in the scenery and music and i don't know where i can get any of that
i did do a movie but it's on another computer and the internet on that computer doesn't work so when i get that fixed i will post a movie
how long is the ride?
is it 10 minutes like the real splash mountain?
the ride is actually only 4min:08sec but the reason is because the water moves faster than splash mountain and i don't know how to slow it down

well I suggest you make it a roller coaster (idk.. an extended coaster?) and use the intersect code thing to fuse it with a flume ride. at least youll be able to control the speed and itll still be in water! ^_^"

well actually the only problem wit that is that i already made a video that took me nearly 4 hours and i don't think i am pacient enough to make another one besides upgrades

well really all you would have to do is make a rollercoaster track the exact same as the flume which takes like 10 mins... and then add in the occasional block brake which (if you know how to do it) takes another 10 for this long of a ride

this is the exact track layout of the one at the magic kingdom and i don't know where to get the scenery for it yet if anyone could help that would be great. I'll get more pics once i get some more scenery and start working in the back

omg, the same thing happened to me when I was recreating Splash Mountain (it took me 8 hours to make it) I was adding in the scenery inside the ride and then my computer crashed. I lost everything. I could never make it again. :frown: But I think i'm gonna give another shot at it. Who knows, maybe it'll be even better. But I totally know how you feel right now.

^^seriously back up your files after things get pretty well into the game. I suggest using a CD RW (re writable) so you can save the game then over lap onto the CD. Its a good thing to do so if you don't want to do all that then why even bother making the park. Well actually i don't back up my files bc my comp is like three months old and hasnt crashed. When it gets older i probably will start backing up files. Actually u don't even need to put them on cd put them in a new folder.

Yea well its just a preview and he proably can't find music. Disney doesn't want to bother with copy rights and all that that is why u can't find it to man places.

Where can i get scenery for it and how can i make the Mountain?
Here are some questions for ya.
1) Do you have Windows Movie Maker?
2) Do you have a DVD-ROM that allows you to take snapshots from DVD's?
3) Do you have any Disney theme park vacation planning DVD's?
Here is what I did. I popped in my vacation planning DVD's and played them in slow-motion. I took screen shots of all the ride segements featured on the DVD that I wanted. So when I saw a small clip of the Splash mountain ride, I took a picture each time a movement was made. Then when I was done, I imported all the images into the windows movie maker, had all the images play at 6 times the "double speed". Then I saved the video, and imported it into the RCT3 game as an animated billboard.
Remember your billboards can play movie files as long as they are not over 2 MB.
That is the only good way I think you can get Splash Mountain scenery.

Its an options.txt cheat. Its very complicated and i had it on my older computer but i don't have it now and as soon as i find it i will post a thread about that.

you know what i think i going to start over and this time for the mountain i might use billboards what do you think?
the only problem is that my computer lost all of it's scenery except for general and the amnitronic parrot (whick i really don't know why) so i can't put anything in it and i think it was because of DRP's lights so i dunno what to do anymore, maybe reinstall RCT3 and wild? please give me some answers!

its possible but it'd be very difficult and if it is not to the exact mm it will look terrible. And you can go down to the exact miliimeter in RCT3. Maybe in no limits.
