No limits is very hard to use. But all you need to do is practice and you will be able to do it!
LOL i know its hard thats why i like it. RCT is addicting cause I know how to play LOL so ill spend hours playing with it. While NoLimits i will never get the hang of cause its to complicated so i get bored making my own tracks and can only ride other tracks so many times. LOL but i was just wondering if anyone on here is good at building with NoLimits.

is there any in game scenery?
its not really a game so I would say no. there is grass and you can add trees and such but its not really a game as much as it is a designer. or like a 3d simulater. It has one purpose and one purpose only, to simulate a real rollercoaster. they have actually said that this program is used by big corporations and carnival style theme parks to help build new coasters and coaster designs

Yes i think they do use it but they call it something else, because no limits really isn't that professional. Anyway disney has something because on the science channel the everst thing they showed them using a thing that looked kind of like no limits, only they could chose to show the supports for the mountain, and the coaster, show water pipes, so i bet disney doesn't use it. They probably use something that is no limits, with a CAD on it as well to desgin the water pipes, and such.
the no limits version for the professional field is entirely different and uses an entirely different name too. ill look into it but i dont think disney uses it but I saw something on their site so i will have a look

Sorry for extracting old threads, but I thought this was interesting. This Nolimits SM creation (www.spacestation77.com) really looks promising. Although they only have the images and a wireframe video, it looks "Lightyears" above all the rest we've ever made.

I just recently got it, and uhhh...it's really hard to work out the kinks and stuff. The design process is nothing like RCT3 though, you lay out the coaster on a 2D board with ariel, front, back, and side views. The simulator is 3D and of really good quality.
Keep in mind that this is not my recreation, though I wish it was...I tried my own SM and...well. I'll take a vid of it and edit it in later, you can see for yourself.
Edit:On second thought, nevermind. I don't know how to take videos yet, but it will come in time...

I have no idea......wish I did.
there are a bunch of free add-ons for making scenery and such if you just google Nolimits scenery you should find something
it is rather diffucult to use as this program is used to design actual roller coasters so it can actually figure out wheres the best place to put supports and such and is as realistic as possible to give roller coaster designers the ability to really design roller coasters.
As I had said previous I wouldnt doubt it if most of the theme parks we see today have used this software in its full form. The version we have is just for simple recreation and low class roller coaster design.

Hey guys, the program Disney uses is top-notch, and its around $5,000....its kind of like a cad program but designed for Theme Park Design...
well i didnt say disney although I wouldnt be surprised if this is based off that program.
However the people at NoLimits states that some theme parks do use this program to design new roller coasters and also try new color schemes

That one guy's NoLimits Space Mountain 2005 (www.spacestation77.com) will be done in a matter of days. Honestly, by the photos, you can already tell that it'll put all of ours to shame.

You can make scenery with the nolimits object creator at www.gravimetricstudios.com
I think it's very easy to use, once you get the hang of it.
Day 1:
I took me a week to get a figure 8 coaster
Year 1:
I made a figure 8 coaster in 6 minutes, and it's smoother than the one that took me a week.
It's very easy!

Well its a good coaster, but you either need a better computer, or use a different program.

^Have you gotten used to a different building style? Took me like a week to get used to it, and i still don't like it, hard to make things perfectly straight, even with the straight button
