I'm going to Disneyland June 29th, I go once every year or two, so I rarely go. Is there anything I should do or look for while I'm there?

Space Mountain and Fireworks are absolute "do not miss."

Come early and try to enter the park gates before the park opens (15-30 min before). 10am is when the huge crowds start arriving, so the first two attractions you should try to get out of the way are Space Mountain and Splash Mountain (i'd recommend fastpassing Space Mountain right away). Indiana Jones can be your next Fastpass when your Space Mountain fastpass can be redeemed.

Don't forget the changes to Haunted Mansion and POTC.

For Fantasmic, the second showing (usually 10:30pm) has much better seating and is best since you should stake out a great fireworks viewing spot in the Central Plaza instead of going to the 9pm Fantasmic.
