Quest for Green Autopia Car

I have been playing all of the quests for the different autopia cars and have done pretty well until the quest for the Green car. Here is the thing...at a certain point in the quest you have to collect 85 ghosts from the haunted mansion...well i have done this like three times, hit 85 right on the button, all by myself, and still have not recived the message to continue to the next task...?
If anyone knows why this is? Or how they passed it, please let me know!!

You can't count the 2 ghosts you get for sucking up other players who have been turned into a ghost. The quest will only count actual ghosts. That's why. If you can, get 4 people on the other team and you by yourself on the other. Have 3 of the people keep their color ghosts clear and have the other person as the coffin shaker. You will soon have lots of ghosts of your color. If you need to, make sure each team wins a round to get to round 3 then do the same thing as I wrote, coffin shaker etc. No problem! lol. Dumb Green Car Quest! lol.

I got quite lucky: I did the blue, then the yellow car and when I finished the pink car quest it gave me a blue magic car pin instead of the pink! At first I thought ok, I did the blue one again by mistake but when i went to do the pink, it told me I had already completed the pink quest lol. So i said ok and combined the blue pin with my blue magic pin I already had. I now have a very very very unique 2 star Blue Magic Car Pin since everyone can only do the car quest once for a pin! Woot! Might be the only one on VMK. I don't like pink anyway haha.

Thanks for the help, one quick question though, if I do accidently un-do someone when they are a ghost, does that make my chances of getting the 85 impossible? Like say i still get atleast 85 regular ghosts, and then a couple more temporary ghosts, will that still count, so long as i atleast get 85 on my own?

As long as you get 85 actual ghosts on a the quest you will get it. Just go nuts and suck up everything. You will need their help so you will probably want to turn the other team back to their own color but try and keep in mind how many times that happens then do the math :)

this also has do do with the car quest, but for some one doing it the first time. it says at the explorers tent, you need to find three gems. i found the first and second, but i can not find the third, after two days of looking, please PM me if you know where it is

For the person who is doing the green car quest. How goo are you at Fireworks?? Just to let you know, you have to get 280,000 at fire works, and have bat magic to finsh the green car quest.

Kileli: Which quest are you on? Blue, Pink, Yellow or Green. Because in each quest the gem is in different places.

Here are the places of the gem for the Blue, Pink (R2), Yellow(R3). Can't give you the places for the green, becase I have not done the quest. Hope this helps though. Good Luck!

20/24 Find Jewel on the ground (riverside, closest to tent)
(2 round) Sit on the tree stump, on far side of fire
(Round 3) Just behind the campfire
21/24 Find Jewel on the ground (riverside)
(2 round) Located parallel to the other tree stump
(Round 3) In frount of the campfire
22/24 Find Jewel on the ground (under the tent)

(Round 3) Just behind the suitcase next to the river

I did the blue car and the yellow car. I was about to do the green car and i heard players were having alittle trouble with it so i didn't do it. Theres no way im driving a pink car...no way. :eek:

Yea, that green car quest is a tuffy. You have to get 85 ghost and 280,000 on fireworks. I was lucky to get the 45 ghost for the yellow car. And the highest I have ever gotten on fireworks is around 260,000, and I don't do that all the time. So I don't think I will even be trying the green car quest.

Friends can be key to help you advance through the 85 ghosts task in Haunted Mansion. What i've seen done before is that you start a game and bring 2 to 4 trusted players/friends to all play on the other team (make sure several of them are good with the game controls). Then when the game starts, have 1 or 2 of your friends spend the entire time repeatedly shaking the coffins sitting in open area or the center of the room, releasing plenty of ghosts to catch, while the other friend(s) catch their ghosts so they won't chase you. Win 1 round, lose the other round so you can have the opportunity of using all 3 rounds to get enough ghosts. Now the rest is up to your ability to catch them. ;)

srry for not being specific...i eventually found it though, and now have space magic. the space quest was really easy though

I spent an entire day trying to get 45 ghosts for the yellow car quest (which I finally got) and here are all of you talking of green and pink...if you could see me right now, all you would see is a fly catcher.

The pink quest is easier than the yellow one. So as soon as you recover from the yellow car quest you should give it a try.

I will think about it, but i am still having nightmares. On it do you have to play haunted mansion? or jungle cruise?

Yes, you have to play Jungle Cruise and HM. But you have to shoot for fewer ghost, and less points on JC.

ok, i will try that! thanks, but i will still NEVER try for the green one! Well, that quest, (the pink one) took me all of 5 minutes. You werent kidding when you said it was easy! much more so than even the yellow.
