I posted this on another message board as well, but was plagued by posts of "well gee, I don't know"... My question was for people who DO know :p
Anyways... I'm heading to Disneyland in a little less than a month for what has apparently become an annual vacation. I've been scoping around the fansite for what all is actually available, but I've been having problems putting together a complete, up-to-date list.
Which brings me to this question: As of now, what exactly is there available for VMK at DL? What quests are there to do, what prizes are offered, what cards are there to get with purchases, etc.?
My main concern is that I hope I can still get the Pirates of the Caribbean stuff (Captain's Quarters Couch, Crow's Nest, Pirate Prison room) and the Haunted Mansion stuff (Grandfather Clock, etc.), as well as buying a Magic Mirror. But yeah, a complete list would be really, really helpful.
Thanks!

Sorry, but I think you would have better results searching the web or going to wikipedia.

Thanks!
I also heard about another prize pack given to you after you finish all the quests, not to mention the fastpass tickets.
But man, am I choked about the PotC stuff being discontinued... Like, thanks Disney for making those things only available for 6 months between trips!

I was there with my son last Nov. we did the in park quest and then the tour. If nothing has changed you will need to get into the park and to the VMK booth early to go on the tour. Only so many people get to go and it was on a first come basis. There were a few stores in Downtown Disney that had VMK cards for free stuff also. Have fun!

All the DLR VMK CM's are very nice, and even if you get a answer wrong they give you another chance, and if you go up to the stores with VMK cards, and ask nicely, they might give you them, or say you bought something somewhere else or on another day. I missed the store cards except T-Shirt, Ears, and Mirror, so if you could get the other ones for me that would be great.
Answers to 50th...
Mr Incredible
Vapour Trail
Jerri and Mickey
Jimminy Cricket.
and I can't remember what the others are.
They give a really nice prize pack including the Explorers Tent room. I even forgot my Tomorrowland quest at home but the CM's read it out to us and we did it right at VMK Central.

To get HM quest. Play a scaventure hunt game in the cave in innoventions where VMK is.

Print out the Disneyland Park Tomorrowland Quest from the VMK website (.pdf file): http://vmk.disney.go.com/vmk/en_US/quests/index?name=TomorrowlandQuestPage
Print out the DLR 50th Quest from the VMK website http://vmk.disney.go.com/vmk/en_US/community/index?name=DLR50thQuestPage
When you arrive at Disneyland Park, go to the VMK Central Booth located in front of Innoventions (the 2 story round building between Autopia & Redd Rockets Pizza Port) and grab the pamplets of the 3 quests (Adventureland, Fantasyland, Frontierland).
Have fun and Search around the park to find the answers, you'll notice interesting things.
There is a special reward if you get all the questions on all four quests right. Turn in your finished quests back to the VMK Central Booth i'd say around mid-day. There they will hand you all the reward cards and a few additional cards that were from the former special VMK Insider Tour. I think the additional cards are:
Jungle Cruise Posters
The Explorer's outfit carpet
Nemo Chair Pink
Big Thunder Mountain Teleporters
Safari Lifestyle Collection
An Additional reward is given to you allowing you to have 2 fastpasses (to ride(s) of your choice in Disneyland Park) per valid park ticket used to turn in the quests
If you register a character into VMK inside Innoventions, that character will have the green "born in park" badge and other special prizes from clothing to furniture.
Also bring in any printed .pdf coupons from scoring hi scores in some of the games in VMK or completing the hidden mickey quest in VMK.
Keep checking VMK.com for updates regarding a potential New Pirates Quest but from what i've heard the prizes may be different from the first quest.
Besides the Quest Reward cards, there are 5 different reward cards you can get by purchasing merchandise at certain locations marked with VMK signs in the store.
Note: You have to ask the cast member at the register for them when you're making your purchase. And here's a tip: Shop the stores very early or when they are not crowded and busy (the evening is the worst time to shop in Disneyland, especially near closing time). A less-stressed cast member is likely going to be more generous in giving a few extra cards beyond the "1 card per purchase" if you purchase more than 1 item and you ask politely and be kind to them.
VMK Card: Magic Mirror Poster, DLR Location: Any Item Purchase in the Magic Shop (Main Street, East Side)
VMK Card: Happiest Celebration on Earth Pin, DLR Location: Buy a real pin in Little Green Store Command (Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters exit, Tomorrowland)
VMK Card: Golden Mickey Ears, DLR Locations: Buy a real hat at the following- Hatmoshpere (Autopia entrance), Mad Hatter (Fantasyland), Mad Hatter (Town Square, Main Street)
VMK Card: Mickey Mouse Club T-shirt, DLR Location: Buy a real T-shirt at Star Trader Shop (Star Tours exit)
VMK Card: Red Penny Press Chocolate Dispenser, DLR Location: Buy real candy at Pooh Corner (Critter Country)

The ears were only at Hatmosphere. And, the FASTPASSes count on your ticket.

Actually, my buddy got hat cards at the Mad Hatter on Main St., and yes, the FASTPASSes do count on your ticket. Blarg! I also found out that you only get one bracelet per person per 90 days regardless of how many quests you turn in.
Nevertheless, a good time was had! I'm filled with swag and even got a red penny press for kicks because I couldn't resist the make-your-own pixie sticks anyways :)

Yes, I just got 2 fastpasses last weekend. I didn't use them because.......They looked like the OLD fast pases when they first started giving fastpasses out!
