Avast There!
Since i've kinda gotten bored of making Disneyland, iv'e decided to make POTC in RCT3, it's taken me about a couple of weeks to get where i am now so yeah. I still have to wait for some scenery for POTC to make it more realistic.I'll have more pics up soon.

Wow, that looks really nice!! At first look at the first picture, I thought that it was a picture of the acual ride empty....but that is what tipped me off that it was not the real thing. But really nice job, i hope that i will be able to see more at the end of your project.

Lookin good, and good luck dark rides are among the hardest recreations ever, but its well worth the effort.
BTW on the ship scene where the captain is, do u have water jets for the cannon balls, and lots of mist machines?

hey... I made a potc too! i didnt post it though... AND it is pretty cheap... AND its only 4 mins long... AND i gave up on it when i joined visions fantastic... AND, well you get the picture...

so u have three mist machines personally i'd use like a billion, but that can make it look bad. So i think you should add one or two more. The cave when u here the dude talking in the cave, that has mist too, so u could add some there.

Wow. That is really detailed. I would never spend that much time making a ride in RCT3. My computer is too slow to run that game right anyway, so I gave up a while ago.

Thx for the gr8 feedback and now for a quick update:
Bayou=99%
Caves=90%
Wicked Wench scene=80%
1st Town scene=75%
the rest is yet to be started.

Good thing, you recreated for RCT 3, the best game for creating your own or recreating parks and attractions.

You could download some woman AA figures in the Wench For a Bride scene.

I like it, it looks like the actual ride. How did you add the lighting inside the caves and the beach scene?

I need RCT 3 bad!

yea no one has made thoose let alone made moving scenery. Looks good tho, the thing with DRP lightz is that they could be a little brighter and that they only work at night. If the .fps rate is slow while recording try recording at night! its a Nightmare. They should work during the day tho

Are those in an expansion pack? If not, where are they located at on the game? I've not been able to find anything like that.

Mist machines aren't in any catagory i think. So go to scenery then at the top de select al the themes. If its not there try generic (the hat) and then keep scroling down. There is small fire, big fire, smoke, and mist. Also water jets do come in soaked but i believe there is a patch for the first game so you can have lasers and water jets.

Should i scrap this one, giving you lot the Park file just so u can see it, AND make a complete New Version i am already working on? I reckon the one i already have is not up to my standards and i want to Recreate this to the Best Of My Ability. Really i shouldn't have made this until i got some Scenery for it, but since the POTC set was released the things that are in the Ride can now be made better, and when i didn't have that scenery everything was to small compared to the real ride, and the track changed in the process.

So this would be the new Bayou if i completely restart! and just imagine everything else

Hmmmm i havn't posted any updates on here woops, anyways heres some pics that i've already put on Ataricom, and btw i've had to split the ride into to parks, due to the mistake i made on Placing the start of the ride (placed it to far on the Edge of the Sandbox and ran out of space, so the second park starts from the battle onwards.

^lol im still here so never fear, just finding it hard to get into the RCT3 mood lately, well that and i've got my School Certificate in like a week or so, so yeh thats whats been taking up my time really, i'll get to work on it soon, but the last thing i was working on was the Town part before Burning of the town.

So i'll hope to fire up ye old rct3 and get to work soon.

A school certificate is like a diploma. I think he mentioned in an IM converstation that they only go to school until there 15, or 16 and then get there certificate (like a diploma) Im trying to rember but thats probably wrong. Thats what'd it'd be like in a perfect world.

lol, well a School Certificate, is just a lower grade exam for my year (year 10), and you can use it to get a Job if your leaving school, but im a good boy and going through to year 12 lol, then in year 12 i gotta do the HSC-Higher School Certificate... fun fun fun

^ nah nah nah, I dont go to college im still in year 10 lol and i have no intention on going to college, Year 12 is part of High School which is years 7 through to 12, then After You've Finished year 12, you can go to University which is yeh pretty much like college or just go out and get a job.

k Tiny update time! this is my recent work on the Blue Bayou Restaurant, i managed to fit in some Rct3 with my School work etc.
So yeah basically I've made the Restaurant look more realistic with the help of Vodhin's wonderful Cafe set!

^I would change something though. The waterfront rallings are actually a jade green. Not red. And, your version of the Blue Bayou is less cramped then the real one. There are more tables in the real life counterpart.

Anywho, during the caves when its just caves and no real scenery, do u want me to just skip those parts and save the boredom and just go straight to the next scene?

This is a very nice re-creation, especially the restaurant.

I noticed that you used lulujarre's Pirates scenery. I had downloaded that scenery pack and, for whatever reason, it is no longer in my game. I think it must have deleted somehow when my hard drive crashed a while back. Does anyone know where I can download the scenery from? I tried looking on the Atari boards but I had no luck. And I keep getting an error page whenever I try to download it from this here... http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=535535

So any help on tracking down a pirate scenery download would be greatly appreciated.
