What is your favorite Disney Channel Original Movie or DCOM as they like to call them now? For me it would be the Luck of the Irish. I'm not sure if this is a DCOM, but My Date With the President's Daughter is great too.

*giggles* I liked 'Twas the Night just because it had my favorite actress (Torri Higginson) in it.
Hrm. Let's see.
I don't have an exclusive favorite but there are some I like better than others.
Motorcrossed
Brink!
The Even Stevens Movie
Cadet Kelly (...Well, I only watch it to mock a certain young blonde actress)
Luck of the Irish
Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century
HalloweenTown II: Kalabar's Revenge
And...I don't think Disney really knows how to make live-action musicals, because High School Musical is one of the biggest joke of a movie I have ever seen. It's more reminiscent of an extremely long music video than an actual musical. And yes, there is a difference between the two.

I thought the 13th year was decent. I guess I have a thing for those fish out of water movies...

I really liked the Even Stevens movie. Then again, I really liked the Even Stevens show, so I guess that makes sense. It reminds me of my own middle/high school experience.

This one is an old one from the early 90's, it's called Perfect Harmony. Very good movie. Dave Faustino is in it (not the main actor). Takes place in the early 50's down in the south. Way cool movie.

I love High School Musical. Usually, I'm not a big fan of musicals, but this movie had my butt on bed (I have no chairs in my room, except the one for my computer and I watch television lying down on my bed considering it's front of my bed.). I also liked The Even Stevens Movie, Brink, Johnny Tsunami, The Luck of the Irish, Twas the Night, Halloweentown, The Color of Friendship, and, I'm not sure this is a DCOM, Flash. I think there are other movies I like, but can't remember the names because it's been a while since I watched them.

So I saw High School Musical for the first time tonight, and I wasn't overly-impressed. It was alright, but it wasn't funny, sad, or anything else to stir emotions. It was just there, exsisting as a completely fictitious portrayal of high school.
There was one really cool thing about it though. It took place at East High School (my school) and they even had red and white as their school colors...Just like I do. Except I'm an Angel and they were Wildcats.

That one wasn't a DC original, just a Walt Disney Pictures film, I believe. Amazing movie, though - I used to be absolutely in love with that film when I was a kid. I think it was the horse freak in me.
